Questions & Answers

Just to be sure, this is eight packs of three pads, so I'll get a total of twenty-four pads. ?

Instead of the eight packs of three that were advertised, I only received one pack of three. I'm hoping for a refund or for the remainder of my order to be sent to me.

Do these, like most other pads, stink after a while? The scrub daddy series is one of my favorites, but it's quite pricey. ?

Sponges aren't indestructible. Sponges must be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis or they will become filthy, harboring bacteria and stinking. Each time you use them, give them a good rinse and wring them out thoroughly. Put them in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize them, then discard after a few months and replace with new ones.

What is the name of this product and how do you say it?

It was phonetically pronounced "dough-" when the product was first released. bee. " I think you're right.

I'm curious as to what this is made of. ?

Identical to store-bought originals. A flexible plastic mesh wrapped around a soft plastic sponge. They'll last for years if you get 24 of them. They're fantastic.

This is for those of you who do your dishes at home
3/5

They're actually quite tasty. The price is reasonable, and for some reason, none of the Walmarts near me have had these in stock in a long time, so I'm glad I found them here. The tough stuff that gets on your dishes is scrubbed away by the outer layer. As an example, dried cheese and other similar items. We've all been there, and the soft sponge actually holds a decent amount of soap and doesn't feel dry and gross all of the time. I'm not sure if it's just me, but that seems to be the case. They do, however, last a long time; just be careful when using forks and knives, as the outer layer will rip. They are, however, quite good. If you're anything like me, you'll be looking for the negative reviews to see what's really going on. That's what I'd do, which is why I gave it a one-out-of-five rating. To tell you the truth, but it truly deserves a five-star rating. I sincerely hope this review does not irritate them.

Green, Red, and Blue Dobie pads are now available, just like the yellow ones
5/5

Dobie pads are one of my favorite things. These are identical to the originals, except that instead of three yellows, each box contains a red, a blue, and a green. Fun!.

Colors do not bleed in any way; work in the same way as a regular Dobie
5/5

Hooray. This case of 24 comes at a fantastic price. Colored Dobies were not something I was interested in purchasing. I was worried that the colors would bleed, as some new sponges do when they're first used. When it comes to kitchen sponges, who needs dyes? I don't believe so. br>br>However, these Dobies function in the same way that regular Dobies do. There are no dyes that are coming off at all. I'm glad I came across this fantastic offer. Plus: I no longer need to go out of my way to find Dobies and pay exorbitant prices.

Wow, these are incredible! In our house, I'm the one who does the dishes, so it's a long-standing evening ritual
5/5

I've been using the light blue/dark blue Scotch-Blue for as long as I can remember. Both Brite pads and yellow/green pads, which I used occasionally when the blues were unavailable, did a good job and lasted decades. I thought I was just a way for Scotch-Irish to make money when I saw these incredible Dobies as a suggested product. Brite to squeeze out a little more margin with a "premium" sponge; while this may be part of it, they are still quite inexpensive. br>br>As for the work they do, it's amazing; not only am I saving time cleaning dishes, but they're also coming out better. The part that I despise the most, the scrubbing and repetitive cleaning to remove fused food particles from pans and utensils, is the best part of this. In the months that I've been using these, it hasn't scratched anything I've cleaned. They're the perfect size, just a tad smaller than the standard old-fashioned ones. It's not quite as good as using school sponges, but it's still a lot better. br>br>The little hard plastic seams on both ends also work really well for small crevices; I'm not sure if this was by design or as a result of manufacturing, but it's a nice little extra tool that's already in your hand. br>br>A downside of these is that they don't last as long; once a hole appears in the exoskeleton, your poor little sponge is on its last leg; within a day or two, Is it possible that I overused the old sponges? I'm not sure, but it's noticeable; however, given how much time they save and how much better they work in general, it's not a factor in my decision. br>br>I can't take credit for this because I believe I saw another reviewer do it, but once a sponge has seen better days for cleaning dishes, I decommission it to bathroom cleanup, where there are fewer things to catch the little tears on. They will survive for a few bathroom cleanings, which I'd want to throw it out after anyway, who wants a 6 month old sad little, dirty, germ-infested sponge? a sponge that has been filled and is strewn about the bathroom? These Dobies do just as well in the kitchen as they do in the bathroom, tearing through anything a bathroom can throw at them. Our master bath is quite large and has a lot of tiles, which makes cleanup a breeze. If you're on the fence, give these a shot; after all, look at how much I just said about a sponge!.

ProTip: Scrub your entire body
5/5

Not only do I use these to effectively scrub my vintage cobalt dinnerware without damaging it, but I also use them as a loofah with body wash. Of course, each in their own way. Seriously, these are inexpensive and effective at exfoliating and clearing my skin. Rather than having a gnarly mesh puff hanging around past its due date, I can toss them on a regular basis. After getting a new Axe mesh scrubbie, I stopped using them for a few months, and even with an exfoliating wash, I have back-to-back back-to-back back-to-back back-to-back back-to-back back-to-back back-to-back back-to-back back- After years of having flawless skin, I now have acne and ingrown leg hair. I'm heading back to Dobie.

The Best Sponge I've Ever Seen
5/5

These sponges are fantastic! We tried them for the first time about 5 years ago, and I've never been the same since. They don't scratch, but they shed a lot of skin. Regular sponges with scratch pad backs aren't nearly as effective. I also discovered that they last longer and are less smelly than regular sponges. When using them on a grater, such as a cheese grater, you must exercise caution. It tends to catch and tear the outer layer, but if I'm not careful, chunks of a regular sponge will be shredded as well. To sanitize them, my husband puts them in the dishwasher, and they hold up well. We've also purchased them at Meijer (supermarket) and Menards with their 2011% rebate. Amazon has a pretty good price for them, though we've also purchased them at M.

I'll buy them again to make sure I didn't get a bad batch, but I was dissatisfied with my most recent purchase
3/5

These were once a five-star item! These Dobie pads would not be complete in my home! However, I've noticed that they're not made as well as they used to be in the last couple of purchases. They degrade much faster than they did previously. I'm going to buy them again to make sure I didn't get a bad batch, but my most recent purchase left me disappointed. I'll have to try something else if the quality isn't as good as it used to be. In addition, after reading some of the other criticisms, I'm not optimistic that the next ones will be any better. When that happens, I'll be sure to write a new review!.

It has a strange odor and a strange feel to it
3/5

The old yellow Dobie is one of my favorites. I wanted to use a variety of colors to spice things up. These aren't the same thing at all. They're softer and have an odd odor. Returning to the original yellow variety.
