Obviously there is no specific area hollowed out for a drill, but my son had a hand drill and he managed to find a spot for it anyway.
Sorry, but no. All Veto bags are made in China, but they look and feel like they are manufactured in the USA. The folks at Veto Pro Pac sent me a long explanation of why they are made in China rather than here in the US. The whole thing is a bunch of nonsense in my opinion. Bags made here could be found for the same price as the ones made in the US. By using cheap Chinese labor, they are making a huge profit
For either one, there is no designated area. It's possible, however, to carry a hammer in the pockets at the bottom. With a hacksaw, it is easy to hide between the flap and It will just require a little more work on your part. I don't think it is a problem. Regardless, it's a great bag and I hope you buy one.
I'm not going to let that happen!

The zipper of this bag had been uncoiling since October 2014 since I purchased it in January 2013 and loved it, but then it started uncoiling again in January 2015. My bag was being closed at the end of a long day when I discovered this incident. With the help of a pair of vice grips, I forced my zipper open in order to retrieve my tools. While doing this, I tore the webbing that fixes the zipper to the bag. Under the warranty, I sent it in for repair or replacement. A few days after I purchased the bag, I received a call from Veto and was informed that the zipper would not be covered by the warranty since the webbing had been torn. In my opinion, this kind of situation is unacceptable. The zipper was the cause of the problem. Since I have been conducting forensic investigations on product failures for years, I am well versed in what happens when a critical component fails and when adjacent non critical components are affected. My warranty claim noted that the zipper had failed and I watched it live. Veto has never sold me anything and I will never buy anything from them again. Their warranty is not a standup company and they try to avoid their warranty obligations by using it.
There was a lot of good talk about this bag. A copy of my own would be nice. I received mine and found it a bit disappointing. I would rate the quality as average or lower. As an example of a product comparable to other bags available, I will use the Husky bag. As the handle started to unravel, it appeared that the stitching had failed. It wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but I liked the design. What disappointed me most was where it was produced. Where is China? What about the price? a bit steep for something made in China. The one I returned was a Ferrari made in China. Would you purchase it for the same price as a Lamborghini made in China?.
A copy of mine I purchased six years ago still looks great and is in excellent working condition. As it turns out, I like it much more than I thought Although I have a large chest and cabinet in the garage, it is faster to grab my bag and fix things on the car or at home. At my parents' house across town, I fix things and it is nice to grab a bag and know I have tools in there that can fix whatever is broken 99% of the time. I appreciate that the bag zips up so that my tools don't get scattered in the backseat.
The side of the bag is open, so if I suddenly realize I have forgotten a tool, I can glance at it. The bag is not light, but all of my tools are secure and stay dry no matter how much weight I add to it. This bag will not get soaked if I set it down in an inch of standing water. Heavy duty material and smooth zippers make this jacket ideal for active wear. I replaced 3 tool bags with the Veto XL just for you to get an idea. I do have to climb down from the ladder, but as long as I have everything I need without having to climb back to my room, I can accomplish 85% of my work without going back to the She's one of my coworkers Having only a small set of tools and their "Crescent Hammers" pliers, workers get the job done. The right tools will help me to do the job since I have what I need. It has a very sturdy handle like a suit case, so when it's full of heavy tool, you wouldn't expect the bag to handle the load with such comfort. On each side of the handle are velcro pads, allowing you to attach the strap to one side of the handle or the other, preventing it from dragging. Also, I consider that all the tools are in a vertical position, so they are easy to see and remove from the My friend showed me his 3 years old bag and I was shocked when I saw visible signs of wear, but his Veto XL still has miles to go before it's time to retire. I use this bag on a daily basis and I can tell you it's the best one. The money I spend on a tool bag seems low when you think about the number of years it will last. I generally spend $60 on it. There is a particular bag that I purchase from the supply house that costs $100. During the course of the year, I consume at least 1 bag, which equals Without a warranty, you would have to spend 00 bucks over three years. This reviewer did not fill out the warranty card when he bought his bag, it's obvious the reviewer did not understand the terms of the warranty. I have a 5 year warranty, so don't listen to this person who says that they have poor service. A Bosh 12v impact driver, a drill case for drills up to 1/2", and nut setters from 1/4" to 1/2" are among the tools I carry. I know this bag has plenty of room, but you would not believe how full it is with just one side used. Also included are a set of 1/2 inch extensions, various tips, a case for wire nuts and screws, as well as all the pockets. You can use this tool bag on a roof terrace, a cat walk or during a long walk if you have to carry your tools around. Because the strap is large and well padded, it doesn't feel bad to carry a heavy load. You will be way ahead of the game if you purchase the Veto Pro Pac tool bags.
Yesterday I unloaded the old and loaded my new bag! Today I received my bag and unloaded the old and loaded the new! This bag has a quality feel to it that I really like. The size of the Tech XL bag is too large for me, or the larger meter pockets I wanted. I'm an electrical/generator engineer, so this bag was chosen over it. In this case, there were two reasons for the purchase The open design of my old bag caused a lot of problems out on the road my tools are critical to my day-to-day activities if the bag is closed. Second, the I would tip over my old tool bag in my truck or van and chuck it out. Specifically, I wanted a bag that was sealed. It has been over 5 years since my friend bought it. It is a wonderful device and I have wanted one for a while, but I just hadn't felt like spending Now that I have finally taken the plunge, I am glad I did it. My next step will be to post some pictures. We are two of mine and two of our.
Most guys have never seen a tool bag of this quality at Lowe's or Home Depot, so this is the kind of gift you won't find at a retailer. It cannot be compared to anything else. You can get this as a gift if you don't know what to give the guy who has everything. Some skilled technicians in the HVAC and electrical trades may be familiar with Veto bags, but I don't know anyone else who has In addition to myself, I bought this for a friend who is a do-it-yourselfer An experienced do-it-yourselfer and jack of all trades, on Christmas morning he actually stopped opening presents, ran out to his shop, and got started. It is kept in his truck, and every time I see him now he has a story to tell about it. It is one of those guys that is always giving advice to others on remodeling/mechanical issues, and enjoys the look on their faces when he pulls out a When folks first see it, their initial reaction is usually one of surprise. "Wow, where did you get that?"? For Father's Day, Birthday, or Christmas - I've put together the following list Hit the jackpot with this guaranteed.
