These are heavy-duty wipers that will help you clean your firearm. When used as a wiper, they are about as lint-free as you can get without using "clean room" medical/electronic supplies. If they get caught on something sharp, they will pull apart, but only with effort. They're fantastic for windows, which I use them for. Then they're demoted to jobs that are increasingly filthy. To give you an idea of how long they will last, consider the following: They can be used to scrub and rub carpets to remove messes from children and cat poop, and they don't leave any lint behind. In fact, I'm going to use these the next time I clean a firearm. Thanks!

These are fantastic wipes! I first noticed them in Walmart's produce section, then went home and discovered them on Amazon! Because they don't leave any lint, these wipes are ideal for my work as an oil painter. Paper towels produce lint, which is undesirable in a realistic portrait. br>Because the sheets are so large, I cut them in half, fold them, and stack them in my taboret drawer. Each painting session usually only requires one half sheet. br>These sheets are made of a rough cloth-like material. It feels like fabric and is extremely absorbent. As a shop rag, it's adequate. In addition, I fold a full sheet in half and place it beneath my cat's water bowl. br>The higher the X number, the rougher they appear to be. I bought the L30 last year because it was a smaller size, but it was too linty for what I do. They're small and soft, about the size of a washcloth. When you have a party, the L30 would be perfect for disposable towels in the powder room! It's gentle enough to put on your face! 30 May 2020: br>br> Yes, it's time to re-evaluate your situation. As I previously stated, I am an artist. I am not a sloppy painter, but when working with oil paints and solvents, a good absorbent clean up cloth is required. I paint on a daily basis. Every day, I still only use half a sheet. Yes, there are still some in the box, but I never like to have to wait for a tool that I require. br>These X-rays are a must-have for any X-ray enthusiast. 80 wipes are as necessary in my studio as any other tool. It's also lint-free.
These wipers are extremely effective and long-lasting. Because each "towel" is enormous, I cut them down to the size I require. Regular paper towels disintegrate when I have to clean carpets on a regular basis. Even when I rub the carpet vigorously, which is what I wanted, these don't work. I tried a few other WypAll products, but they didn't work out as well as these. This isn't to say that the other WypAll products aren't good, but these X80 wipes are better for what I need. (i. The X40 wipes are smaller and less durable, but they aren't for scrubbing carpets. )br>br>I also use them for windows (full size, but folded into quarter size). The benefit of windows is that they don't get as dirty as other surfaces, so I can clean them and then use them for something dirtier, like grease, oil, or cat vomit. I'm sure you understand.
Prior to purchasing this item, I read several reviews. Prior to this, I had always worked on my car with shop rags. They weren't particularly absorbent, but they were incredibly durable. After using up what I had, I decided to try WypAll X80's instead of buying a new stack of rags because they were less expensive. These are far superior to the ones I had previously. They absorb a lot of oil and grease, don't tear or rip easily, and can be dried and reused if they aren't too dirty. "How strong can a glorified paper towel really be?" I reasoned as I considered the X90's. But I'm happy to report that the X80s are capable of performing all of the tasks I require. I'm certain I'm finished with fabric show towels.
I bought these because I needed some heavy disposable lint-free towels to use while restoring some old cast iron. They worked perfectly, but I must say that they are thick and absorbent, and come in a variety of sizes. For heavy-duty jobs, I used to keep a stash of my husband's blue shop towls under the sink, but I've decided to switch to these. They're great for draining fried foods like bacon, wiping down heavily soiled BBQ grills, and simply cleaning up large spills, plus they leave no lint residue on stainless steel and glass. The downside is that they aren't cheap, and I wish they came on a roll like paper towels so that they could be stored out of the box more easily.
When I apply lubricant to my bicycle chains, I like to use these towels. It's tough and absorbent, and it won't fray as you wipe the black gunk off the chain after a ride. Bicyclists will understand what I'm referring to. Because I work with wax, Wiping the chains off with oil-based chain lubes is sticky, so I needed a good towel for the job after every ride; it's also great for wiping down the oily crud that collects on my lawnmower or snowblower. When I don't need such a large towel, I admit to cutting them in half, which is meant as a compliment, because the towels are a generous size when needed. They've met my expectations.
These towels were fantastic. However, the cost increased from $23 to $32. 00, and finally 00, but it has now risen to $63. 00! Or a lot more. Until they stop price gouging, I will never buy them. We're all in a bind, and this only adds to our difficulties. We should all refrain from purchasing it until the price is reduced. br>What a shame!

These were purchased primarily for the purpose of maintaining my tools, such as applying grease to joints, boiled linseed oil to wood handles, and oiling leather sheaths, among other things. In a pinch, I'd use paper towels, but this is much more manageable. br> I usually wait until the weather is warmer before working on my car, so I haven't had a chance to use these for mechanical work yet, but I have a feeling they will outlast the blue garage towels I've used in the past.
These towels are fantastic. Even when wet, it's a powerful weapon. They absorb well and can be reused many times. I now keep a few in my car bag in case of an emergency. In addition, I use them on a daily basis in my home. I've shared them with a few friends, and they've all gone out and bought their own box. This is the towel/cloth for you if you want a good one.
