For home disinfection and sanitation, this is a great substitute for liquid bleach. However, in order for the powder to work, it must be completely dissolved. br>br>You should also test chlorine strength with testing strips and use strength-testing equipment. guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or another reputable source The recommended strength of 100 ppm in the directions was too weak for our needs, but we were able to double the amount of powder and achieve 200 ppm. br>br>We also struggled to dissolve the powder in water as instructed. We solved the problem by pouring a small amount of hot, running water into the powder, vigorously mixing with a wire whisk, and then adding cold water. After being exposed to moisture, this box of hand sanitizer ended up with us. Several packets inside the box had been opened, resulting in powder all over the place. The majority of it is unusable due to its extreme hardness. I searched for a way to contact the seller but couldn't find one. There was no way to correct or return the product, which was unfortunate because it was a monthly order for our tap room.
Use Caution When Dealing With This Maker/Product - I placed an order for a 100-piece box. On arrival, I counted the packets and found that there were only 88 in the box. This is not only deceptive, but it also increases the buyer's unit price.
I tried using it in our cafe, but it left a disgusting, oily residue.
It is not fond of dissolving in water.
I ordered the product for inventory on 12/2018, and when I opened it today, I discovered it had expired on 4/2018. All of the packages were hard and wouldn't dissolve in water, so they couldn't be used.
👍.
