At the recommendation of the customer service at Home Depot, I purchased this product to help clear out the ice melt that had made its way into my garage. Suffice it to say, this product does not work well under these conditions. During the day, it has a chemical smell that permeates your garage (and a little bit into your The red particles also leave an unpleasant residue over the ground when it is mixed with snow and ice melt.
