My answer is not 100% certain, to be honest. My experience is with whites, beige, and light colors I've never used it on I used it on a variety of fabrics with no issues. My apologies that I am not able to better assist you.
It has only been used on light colors for me so far. You can be sure I would use it on my red chair. After you spray, make sure to wipe it off with a dry towel. What makes the difference is the way you approach it. When the product is sprayed on the stain, use a paper towel to blot the wet edges of the area you sprayed (so you're actually blotting the spray). As a result, a stain remover cannot leave a mark.

I am truly amazed at this product. I've never found a stain remover I like as well as this one. This is the light cream I have - There have been a few stains here and there over the years on the couch. Years ago, the stains were hard to remove, but Zep went to work and removed them. There is one tip I would like to share with After drying, the product will move stains like magic, but only while it is still wet. Occasionally, it leaves a slight discoloration on the surface where the cleaner dried itself. If you follow this tip, you will be able to Simply mist the product on the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Blot the edges of the area where you just sprayed with a paper towel. The edges of the paper will not leave a mark if you blot them while they are still wet. The other complaints have not been received You have to see this stuff to believe it.

There is nothing that can compare to the power of this spray!
