Connect this reel to the compressor and I have a 50' rewind reel. During storage, I would not leave this synthetic rubber soaking in oil because it is oil-resistant but not ideal for soaking. The southwest Arizona desert where I live holds up well. Good luck with your project.
Fittings with this thread size are commonly known as 3/8 pipe threads. In order to match air hoses and accessories correctly, this is vital.

Buying is not a good idea.
In using this hose between the air dryer and the air line to the garage it allows me to use a flexible connection to remove vibration from the air compressor, which means no pipes vibrating when the hose is in use.
This is garbage. Nothing but a waste of time. I find it very strange that a 3/8 NPT end would be placed on a hose to reduce it internally to a In my purchase, I chose 3/8 because I wanted a full 3/8 ID. Now I'm going to file my return.
