Is this a good way to keep warm in the winter? I'm looking for something that can effectively transfer heat. Is it only aluminum that's causing the problem?

Yes, but I believe this will suffice for you; it has been working well for me thus far.

Is there a set of clamps included?

No, and I agree that this brand was a tight fit for my 4" fan and 4" vent cap, but with a little patience and silicon spray, I was able to get it attached.

What is the total number of feet included?

It says "4" at the top. Then it says it's an "8" in the description. Is there anyone who knows for certain?

I believe the "additional details" for the 8" are a typo from another size, and the description was reused for the 4". The flexduct has a diameter of 4 inches.

With this, you can ventilate a grow tent

Ducting that is both cheap and flexible and is ideal for venting a grow tent. It's not particularly thick, but that's fine because it doesn't need to be to move air in and out of a tent. Wire cutters make it simple to cut. With a large zip tie or duct tape, it's simple to attach to a flange.

Ventec flex duct has a high quality that I can see. The foil is thicker than the junk from the low-cost competitor. In the future, I intend to purchase this brand.
