The 48x48x80 was purchased by me. I used two fans (one for inbound air and one for outbound air) and two pieces of duct (cutting the duct to make two was fairly simple). To cut through the stiff ridging, you'll need wire snips. There are many portals to choose from in the tent. If you want to get rid of the 'plant perfume,' as I like to call it, there are some good six-inch filters on Amazon.
You can use it as dryer vent ducting, but you'll need to go to a hardware store and buy a dryer vent. Because this is six-inch ducting, you'll need to make sure your dryer as well as a 6-inch ducting. ducting of 1 inch
The main of the vent is double wire reinforced and is difficult to cut, but it can be done fairly well. To make room for the light, filter, and exhaust within the exhaust system, the vent must be cut.
I'm running temperatures of over 100 degrees through the vent, and it's cool to the touch. I hope this has been of assistance.

I have had no problems with it, but it is a little more flimsy than I would prefer if I were you, and if this is going to be used for any sort of indoor gardening and or indoor cooling system, I would recommend getting some thermal insulated ducting as this has no insulation, and bringing cold air into a hot room can cause condensation, which can drip onto your plants and cause mold, but as of now I have had no problems with it.
This is a fantastic duct; it was much longer and far more versatile and flexible than I anticipated when I ordered it. I paired it with a small in-house project. It's a duct fan with a line, and it's great! The duct never gave in to pressure, and the foil around it was fairly sturdy; it has never ripped, and I pull and yank on it to position it where the product I'm installing is feasible. Overall, a fantastic product that I would highly recommend.
Excellent product with attractive packaging that is less wasteful than typical. It'll be difficult to cut the wire, so make sure you have some sharp wire cutters on hand. Duct tape will stick to it, so be careful. On the inside, it's not blackout, and some heat does leak through, but overall, I'd buy it again and recommend it to a friend, so I'll do the same for you:.
It's fairly simple to work with, but make sure you fully extend the duct or you'll end up with a 5 inch I. The interior is smooth and measures exactly 6 inches in diameter when fully extended. br>br>You may need a duct coupling to connect this to popular exhaust fans because these fans, for whatever reason, also have 6 inch exhausts. br>br>You may need a duct coupling to connect this to popular exhaust fans because they, for whatever reason, also have 6 inch exhausts. A sheet metal crimp tool (about $20, but well worth it) may also be required.
Very poor quality, kept tearing the foil when attempting to connect, leaving the ducting shorter than I needed after numerous cuts. I eventually went to Home Depot and spent $2 more on better quality. Also, don't forget to pick up some clamps! Clamps were not included with this product.
I just used some snips to cut where I needed (I tried scissors but the wire is a pretty nice gauge) and some clamps to tighten to some fans, and duct tape would be fine, you don't necessarily need clamps with these.
I'm not sure why they use wire that's so difficult to cut that cutting it will likely shred parts of the tube. Scissors won't cut the wire, and neither will my tin snips. I ended up shredding some of the tube and then simply bending the wire back and forth until it broke.
This stuff is surprisingly strong and easy to work with, which means you'll have one less thing to worry about when working on a project. Go for it!.
