I tried using a long skinny attachment on my vacuum with limited success. Having tried my fingers, chopsticks, and other implements, I have not been able to open the door. First time I used this hose and nozzle I found that it was able to reach down into every crevice and I sucked up so much more lint than I even thought was down A vast amount of it condensed into a small amount of space. Thanks to the flat and flexible end of the hose, you can easily vacuum in your car with it. My guess is that it was pretty dirty on the inside, with lots of lint building up. The tool actually sucked out a lot of air from the vent area, which I did not realize it would be so bad as it was. A simple tool like this is easy to operate. took a hose from my vacuum and hooked it up to the end. Then I could easily slide it into my dryer vent, and it quickly fit. It was easy to slide it into the vent and turn on the vacuum to clean the vent area pretty quickly. From stones to nails and a lot of lint, I found all sorts of things there. I'm so glad I took advantage of this vent cleaner kit. It could have saved me from a fire. The price is great and it's so.

As it is so light, flexible, and does not curl up in use, it is very convenient. There could have been some improvement if it had been about 6 inches longer, but I have a top mounted lint trap, so it's not an issue for me. This is the perfect tool to use on those lint traps in doors.

When all the snow melts, I will be able to remove the outside vent and run a cycle when I do my next load of laundry to see how well it works.

As you can see, this deal kind of slips on to the end of a shop vac (any vacuum should work I suppose), like a Fleshlight, and just makes its way downwards. I was shocked and disgusted by what we found in there! You have to run it through the flexible pipe and the solid vent pipe all the way up The dryer is now working incredibly well! In the end, it cost me about $7 and it probably saved me from having to repair my dryer or a devastating fire in the house that could have killed our entire family.

Since this is so easy to use and lightweight, I was a little skeptical about how well it would work. Having a small vacuum would be ineffective for me, so I had no idea how efficient It surprised me how well the adjustable fit worked, and I was even more surprised by how far it fit into the dryer vent and how much lint came out of it. This is a really easy to use program. The money was very well spent.
