You'll need something spiral to thread this screw cuff on to make it work.
A cuff that goes from 1 to 2 inches would be required. 25" to 1. 5". However, because I'm not sure if you're using a Flexaust or another hose, I can't tell you which cuff to use because different cuffs are available for different hoses.
You'll need a hose with a spiral in it because that's the only way to secure the end. It would fall off if it wasn't secured.
The 2" cuff is designed to fit a 2" ID hose.

It works for my 1-year-old son. In the basement, there's a 1/2" vacuum cleaner hose; The fit, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. It's a tad larger than 1-inch. 1/2" by perhaps 3/16 of an inch, but once companies moved their factories to China, you could no longer control the quality or complain to them about their products.
These have a 1 rating, according to the description. They're supposed to be 5" inside diameter, but they're actually 2".
Hose has a diameter of 2" on the outside. This was an excellent substitute for my Shop-It-Yourself project. The cuff is extremely constrictive. That's usually a good thing, but I need it to be a little more rubbery for my purposes.
It's simple to screw on and off the vacuum hose, but it appears to be secure once it's in place.
There are no issues.
For a 1, the threaded end is too big. Hose has a diameter of 5 inches. Two hoses were put through their paces.
