According to some reviews, these could be used to cover the hub of a boat trailer. I decided to take a risk and order some. Their 2 1/2-inch cap wouldn't fit because the hub was about 2 1/4-inch in diameter. I thought I could stretch these 2" caps, but you have to think like you're mounting a tire on a wheel because the stretch is very small and your fingers are too fat to pull/push the cap on. With the help of three bicycle tire "irons," I was able to complete the task. Plastic is used. The cap is currently very tight, only protruding by less than 1/2 inch from the edge. These are designed to fit tubes with an outer diameter of exactly 2" and no larger.

In my bathroom, there is a vanity light bar with 12 bulb sockets. I didn't need a bulb for each of the 12 sockets because the light fixture was already installed when I moved in. It would be not only extremely bright, but also extremely hot, given the size of the bathroom. I covered the ones I wouldn't be using with these rubber caps. They fit perfectly and keep me from getting dirty on the inside; my only regret is that I couldn't get white instead of black because that was the only color available. In any case, they're still attractive and provide! a clean look for the light bar These caps have made a big difference in my life.

What we received is 2 inch, as advertised, and fits nicely on the ends of our 2 inch pipe hammock stand. Thinner than what came with the stand, but at this price, I'd be happy to replace them in another five or ten years.

Not because of the vendor, but because of the various ways in which aluminum's O/D (outside dimension) is described. I had to return these and order the next size down because my "2" pipe was actually smaller. I would definitely recommend this company because they handled everything so well. The new ones are ideal for the job and fit perfectly. However, a little more thickness on the bottom would be beneficial.

I needed something to cover the jungle gym pipe things, and this was exactly what I needed. The old plastic caps had all cracked as a result of exposure to the sun. These are a perfect fit for the 2" poles. I wouldn't mind if they were a smidgeon smaller so I could stretch them out a smidgeon, but they're tight enough as it is. The item is available at a great price.

The dimensions are 2" W x 1" D. The listing photo is correct, but the size measurement is misleading. So it wasn't the right size for me, and it didn't match the specs in the description.

I recently relocated and misplaced one of the protective caps on my stationary bike; this replacement isn't as durable as the original. It's working well and is a good fit for the front support bar and feet.
