My professional mechanical contractor sized this particular one for my house of 3000' square feet and two and a half baths. In spite of its flawless performance for 20 years, I decided to replace it since the bladder must have leaked to some degree on its own. I'm back to being brand new after getting a new pressure switch for my well.
Yes, it has a quick disconnect, and a spare one is included as well.

In my first purchase, I bought a WM-SJ The number of deaths in 1994 was 12. I have a prefilter in my water that filters out a lot of dirt. My pump developed a water leak at both of the white tabs near the air valve, which developed on top. I assume the bladder is blowing since there are 20 gallons of water in it on the air side of the bladder. The air valve is leaking a lot of water. The bladder must be emptied before it can be carried up the stairs. To do this, unscrew and remove the internal air valve stem and turn it upside down to achieve this. An hour's worth of work could be required. There was a yellow version of this a while ago. The new ones look gray with a I hope my replacement WM will outstrip me in age.
Using my quick disconnect, I was able to replace my 10 year old tank in just 10 minutes. My method of replacing the old fixed pipe was to cut it from the old tank, unravel the remaining portion, screw in the new male end of the quick disconnect, and slide it onto the new tank. Replace the air pressure to the correct level and reinstall Connect your system to the power and turn off the I spent more time cutting up the old tank to fit it into the trash can than putting in.
The installer is easy to use. It worked well for them, so I hope it will work well for me too.
I did not encounter any problems with the packaging or installation.
Upon replacement of the 25 year old pressure tank, the pressure tank was an exact match. It was only a matter of how the plumbing hooked into the faucet There was an upward movement. My pair of fittings weren't the right size, so I had to make a second one to fit You can do it three times and still have a very small I will live with the drip since the floor drain is right next to the tank.
The installer is easy to use. The quality of the construction is excellent. Those with sulfur well water are less likely to experience corrosion problems. Almost 6 months since it was installed and it is still going strong.
My previous wm6 unit was replaced by this model and everything fit without any I was very pleased with how well packed and on time the package arrived. The water pressure is excellent and would be a great recommendation for anyone who appreciates it.
The installation of this tank was very easy because it was replacing an older, same model tank.
