The outside diameter of 1/4" copper tubing is the same as that of 1/4" guest tubing. I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work. Copper is approved for use with push connect fittings.
I'm not sure, I didn't really need it.

This is a 40 psi regulator, according to the specs. The output and input both have a pressure of 60 psi. I purchased two of these: one for the house and one for the shop. Purchases should be avoided because they are ineffective. Resubmit with a five-star rating. It now does exactly what it's supposed to do after a few days of running. On a 40-pound output, I'm dead.
I should've ordered a PSI valve with a higher rating.
As described, lowers the pressure to 40.
The product was simple to install on the water line to regulate water pressure for the refrigerator's water and ice dispensers.
It got rid of a water hammer in the refrigerator's water system.
Great.
I was able to turn off my system.
This is a fantastic product that does exactly what it says on the tin and is incredibly simple to set up. I couldn't be more pleased.
