Yes, I recall that nomenclature if my memory serves me correctly (I am in my late 60s). To be sure, I compared the new valve to the original in my crawlspace, and it was a perfect match. It could be a two-man job, depending on how your water line is set up. In my case, I had to hold the top pipe in place to prevent the PVC pipe from breaking while a powerful senior high school football player twisted the old valve off from the bottom. Before you remove the old one, double-check that you have the right valve for the job.
Yes, that is correct. It has 3/4 inch NPT (national pipe thread) connections, as specified in the item's description. br>As shown in the photo, the left side connection has 3/4" female threads, while the right side connection has 3/4" male threads. br>The flow direction is from left to right, as indicated by the arrow, and the left side connection is immediately to the right of the hex fitting.
Yes, you can swap out the two valves. The only difference between the 55 and the 45 is that the 55 has a brass top dome and the 45 has a plastic dome.
The lfn45bm1 has 3/4 inch NPT threaded connections and is designed for 3/4" pipe.br>The lfn55bm1 has 1 inch NPT threaded connections and is designed for 1" pipe.br>You could use the 1" item with 3/4" piping. To make the connections, reducer fittings are used. br>However, you should avoid using the 3/4" item with 1" piping because the smaller size will reduce or restrict water flow.

Chobani installed it, but it'll be replaced with the same valve that lasted ten years. Let's hope it's made in the United States.
I'm not sure if this is the best PRV or if it's the easiest to clean. However, if you are certain that this is the PRV you require, you will not be able to beat Amazon's price. br>br>The only advantage of purchasing this item from a local plumbing supply, if any, is that you can inspect it before purchasing it. If you want a perfect fit, it matters. br>br> I actually measured it with a measuring tape so I could be sure. If you buy from Amazon, you won't be able to do that. Instead, you'll need to know ahead of time whether or not this model will work with your existing plumbing.
