Excellent quality from a reputable manufacturer. Of course, don't try this without doing your research (and replacing or drilling your orifices, as well as adding a qualified hose and shutoff valve).
After troubleshooting the most common causes of failure, i. After checking the starter battery, etc. , and searching the internet for solutions, I determined that the issue appeared to be with the regulator. The grill is about three years old and is still going strong. I discovered this regulator on Amazon, ordered it, and it arrived on time. I dismantled the old regulator and wrapped the connector threads in yellow pipe tape after cleaning them. The new regulator was simple to install and worked flawlessly the first time I fired up the grill! This is a simple project to do yourself.
All connections were simple to make, so it appears to be a high-quality regulator. After replacing my old regulator with this one and using my grill again, I discovered that the grill was not getting hot enough, even on the highest setting. I took off the screw cap and used a screwdriver to adjust the gas flow, then repeated the process to get the flames to the desired heat level. The grill has now returned to its normal operating temperature range.
This was exactly what I needed for my Bobe fire bowl, which required a gas pressure regulator. br>br>Thank you for keeping these in stock and for the quick delivery. br>br>We'll be in need of some overhead radiant heating in the near future, and I'm excited to see what you have in the Infratech line. I simply typed in the model number of the item I wanted to replace. This appeared, and it appeared to be correct, so I accepted it. I'm sure it would have worked fine, but it's a lot bigger than the one I replaced. It wouldn't fit in the area I needed it to. It is entirely my fault for failing to double-check the dimensions.
It does what it's supposed to do, and it's well-made and heavy. The threads were in good condition and landed on the target at 4 o'clock. 5"WC.
Our new house came with a built-in BBQ that wasn't working properly, even after cleaning it. I examined the old regulator and discovered that there was no way to reset it, so I decided to replace it; the problem was solved.
This regulator was ideal for converting my LP grill to natural gas. It was simple to adjust in order to get the right flow. The unit appears to be well constructed, and I anticipate it serving me well for many years.
