(maxitrol 325-) is a For my natural gas Weber grill, a 3L) regulator is exactly what I need. Due to the seller's lack of technical information on the page, I deducted 1 star. I just checked out the maxitrol website to make sure it would work for my needs. Specifications of the regulator: 1/2" pipe size, 250,000 Btu/H, 2 psi maximum inlet, range of outlet pressure: Water column height is 11 inches. I also purchased a vent protector.
Use to reduce gas pressure for your appliances from 2 psi at the meter to 1/2 psi. This regulator was already installed in my home, but it was connected to a splitter with multiple lines split. I installed a T fitting before the regulator and used the old water heater line to run the higher pressure gas down to the same closet, where I used one of these to drop it back down before connecting it to a new tankless heater that required the higher throughput of the shorter regulated gas line. If you're buying one of these, hopefully you know what you're doing or hire a professional to assist you.

This one appears to be more appropriate for lower-pressure units: br>br> 1/2" In and 1/2" Out FPT Gas Pipe, 1/2 PSIG, 3"-Maxtrol Pressure Regulator for Natural Gas, 1/2" In and 1/2" Out FPT Gas Pipe, 1/2 PSIG, 3"- Maxtrol Pressure Regulator for Natural Gas, 1/2" In and 1/2" Out FPT 6" WC.
It was perfect for my Weber Spirit natural gas grill, which had previously been more of a flame thrower. Weber's customer service was ineffective, so I was fortunate to stumble across this.
It accomplishes the task. What is this "Sheerness" rating all about? This isn't hosiery made for women. Anyway, I have nothing but good things to say about this product; I installed it a month ago and my gas log fireplace is performing admirably. The previous one was causing the fireplace to turn off on its own. Even after replacing every other possible part of the fireplace, I couldn't get it to work until I replaced this one. I needed to purchase some adapters, but it was not a major inconvenience.
It really works. This small regulator was required to reduce the pressure going to my new gas stove. It's small, and during the installation, I was able to get it to fit behind the new range.
Tankless gas water heaters were installed in a new house I bought, and they appear to necessitate running the gas at a higher pressure than usual. All of the existing appliances had additional regulators installed on their lines, but I had a new line run for a gas grill, and when I tried to use it without one, the grill's safety valve shut off, and it wouldn't turn on. Everything was fixed after I added this regulator to the line!.
It had the vent limiter I needed for an indoor installation and was a good regulator at a good price.
