They told me it's four inches center to center when I asked them via email.
It must have been an improperly installed valve. I was not using the one I purchased. Should it be possible for me to return it, I would.
I believe that the solenoid is the black object on top of the ignition coil with wires sticking out

It's easier to purchase a valve and switch out the guts with the faulty one than to cut out a faulty controller or to hunt down a faulty solenoid, seal, or clogged passage. Your defective sprinkler will be available to bench test again once you have restored it. You can then learn from it while attempting a repair if necessary. I mean, what good are replacement parts if they would cost the same anyway?.
In my front yard I installed five of these about two years ago, after seeing them recommended by a neighbor who used to work in the landscape design field. Rain Bird valves that were leaking after being in use for less than a year were replaced, which was In the past, I bought the Irritrol valves for about twenty five dollars each from a local landscaping supply store. Despite no maintenance being necessary whatsoever, they have proved to be very dependable. As I recently had to replace three valves in my backyard, I managed to find them It cost $16 to purchase them from "SprinklerSupplyStore" via the "other sellers" link. The shipping was FREE (and I got a discount on both! Thank you ) for buying three. This is a great product and a great deal! I installed them easily for the second time today! The valves seem like they will hold up just as well as the others. Therefore, I highly recommend them.
To complete the installation, I had to purchase two 3/4 inch threaded nipples. The old valve was removed and the pipes were sanded so the nips could slide on the To let the sealer do its job, let it sit over night. Upon waking the next day, the valve was left open. Sprinklers cycled. I really like it. There is a flaky station on the other radio, so it might be necessary to change it.
I really like it. It fits nicely, and it's easy to put together. We are much more satisfied with this purchase than we were with our Home Depot purchase.

I would highly recommend this product. The device connected very easily and worked flawlessly even with the timer and I would highly recommend it.
The low voltage irrigation valve is an exact replacement for a failed one. My experience with the service has been satisfactory.
