No, the inside diameter of your pipe must be one. 315'' (33mm) is the same size as 1 inch pvc pipe.
Yes, I believe they were designed specifically for that purpose! Mine was for a 5 gallon bucket cover. It's a snug fit, but it's functional.
A total of two Uniseals will be sent to you. (2 pack)
There is nothing on the packaging or product that indicates a NSF rating, so my answer is no.

I bought a one-inch tank adapter for one-inch pvc pipe, drilled a 1 3/4-inch hole, and the adapter fit, but it was a little tight. I cracked both barrels that I was attempting to attach the adapter to while attempting to get the 1" pipe through the adapter. Because I could only get about 1/8" of pipe through the adapters, I had to scrap my plans for what I wanted to do with them and improvise. Overall, I was dissatisfied with how difficult what should have been a simple project turned out to be. And the fact that it harmed the barrels that these adapters were supposed to seal nearly doubled the cost of my project.
On the Uniseal website, I found a chart. These were excellent choices. On the Uniseal website, I found a chart that listed the proper hole size for each seal, and it was dead on. A 1 3/4" hole is required for 1" Uniseal. The pvc went right in after I chamfered the edge and sprayed it with some PTFE lube.
My order consisted of only one item, despite the fact that the listing stated that there would be two.
These are extremely effective and do not leak. The issue arises when you go to install the 1" pvc after these have been installed. It took me hours to figure out that you need to grind the end of the PVC pipe down to about 3 or 4 inches and lube it to get it in. I'll wiggle in with ease after you add lube and grind it. I hope this has been of assistance.
I found it to be extremely useful. On a bog filter I'm building out of a Homedepot 35gal pond, I'm using two uniseals for the overflow. br>br>In order to get the 1" pvc pipe through the uniseal, I used soap. Without the soap, it appeared to be impossible.
It's perfect for the trash can's thin, curved surface.
So far, the product has done exactly what it claims to do. I haven't finished my canister filter project yet, so I can't say it's perfect, but it appears to be working fine so far. Just keep in mind that a 1" UNISEAL requires a 1 3/4" hole to be drilled.
