Questions & Answers

The copper tube running to my pressure switch needs to be replaced. Is it possible to do this with your fixtures?

Copper pipe necessitates the use of a ferral fitting, which can be found at any Home Depot or Lowe's. These are only for DOT air hose, which is a hard clear nylon tubing that is semi-flexible and coated with a softer polyethylene. To hold the polyethylene in place, these fittings have tiny stainless steel balls that bite into it.

Are these compatible with tefen nozzles that have a steel filter? With similar Tailonz connectors, the connection was not deep enough. ?

I'm sorry, but these tefen nozzles are unfamiliar to me. These are what I used for my compressor's air release circuit, and they work perfectly.

I used these for water and air lines, and they work great. You can really feel the two-step seal, and the release to remove the fitting is simple and secure. I've used them on a variety of hoses, including flexable air line, copper, and several different types of semi-rigid plastic pipe, and they've worked flawlessly.

The size is incorrect, and the measurements are incorrect

This isn't a 1:4 ratio. This is a 1/4 tube with a 1/2" thread. I'm looking for a 1/4" or 3/8" tube with a 1/4" or 3/8" thread.

There have been no leaks. This Utah Pneumatic Push to Connect Air Fitting (3/8" Od 1/4" Npt) fits perfectly on the brine tank hose of our water softener (Autotrol 460i). It must be able to withstand both full house water pressure and brine suction negative pressure. It is succeeding!.

I really like these fittings, and I haven't had any leaks with either air or water

They have excellent threads. The two-step seal is very noticeable. The retainer flange is oblong, making it simple to release and disconnect the fitting from the hose if necessary. I use them for both air and water at well over 100 psi with no problems; they are a little bigger than I expected, but that's how they have to be to be of such high quality.
