The first time I used it, it broke

When I used it for the first time, two pieces broke. There was a loss of an email In addition to a faulty rivet, another piece of the puzzle was held together by a clip. My job involves mobile mechanic work I had to remove a heater hose on a Ford Ranger that had a hose clamp in a tight area. It could only be put back together with the two pieces that broke. Sorry to hear that.

The kit is to be avoided

One unit of these pliers actually broke when I tried to use it on a hose clamp. They were not worth the money. When the cables are being used normally, the coating on the cables can be damaged very easily. It is not something I would.

This product works and has a reasonable price

Since I'm not familiar with all of these pliers, let me admit that I have no idea how they work. As a matter of fact, I mainly bought it for the one I know I'll need when I replace the water valve in my car (the cableed A cabled clamp plier alone would have cost about $11. 50, so getting the whole kit cost just a few dollars more. One of these other tools may come in handy for some other clamp when I run into one someday. Despite the poor quality of the tools, they are functional. The tools they used weren't extremely precise, but they got the job done nonetheless. While the cable clamp tool was a bit big and a little difficult to align by feel deep down in the engine bay on a clamp I couldn't see, once I was able to get it on reliably, it unlocked and allowed me to remove the hose without any difficulty. Unlike my previous method where I used vise grips to hold the clamps open, this way worked much better. From the standpoint of my review, it gets four out of five stars.

The only duty that may be performed is light duty

A lack of lock feature is a problem with some of these tools. With a heavy duty clamp, its locking feature exceeds the tool's opening limit and allows one to open it to the lock at the next opening stage. As of now, only one out of four tools are working properly. So far, I have not been able to test the others.

Buying junk won't help your wallet

Buying junk is a waste of money. The remote pliers enabled me to remove spring type radiator clamps from my Mustang with the help of the remote pliers. Conceptually it is sound, however the pliers do not squeeze the clamp to enough force to free it. I had to go back to the old method of channel lock. The squeeze needs to be increased by another 1/4". The design needs to be revamped.

Due to its affordable price, I was initially skeptical about the set, but I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw the quality of the construction and materials. I think each of the three takes has good design and functions well. I just wish the pliers fit into the slots properly within the case. If used properly, they should last quite a while. My only real complaint is that they do not. Or, to put it another way. As soon as you take one out of the case the first time, it will be difficult to reinstall it.

Anyone working on cars should seriously consider it for the price. My first purchase of the tools for the ring shaped hose removal pliers was necessary as I had grown tired of pulling and yanking on stuck hoses, only for them to suddenly pop off and hit my hand The set is worth the price, especially for someone like me who likes to work on his own cars.
