It is much easier to disconnect and drain the tank than to detach and drain A drop of water did not spill from the hose as it was hanging loose. You may find that your mileage is different, but I am extremely pleased with these and have put them up in permanent residence in my tool chest. You can purchase with confidence from me. Performing well and doing precisely what has been promised, they live up to expectations. Aside from that, they are also very This is a super tough job. If you do any sort of maintenance that requires hose clamping, this is a good tool to add to your collection.
Having hose pliers that are good for your money is a plus. Snap On $40 are shown in the photo on the right. There is one at 00 each and one at the left of the photo. When a user is trying to lock these with one hand, it may be difficult to do so in a tight space. Using the Snap On, you can close the tool like hemostat pliers. Since I have used these pliers for 3 months, I have no reason to doubt their durability. The pliers are pricey but of good quality, so I highly recommend them.
A terrible situation! The clamps I bought are completely useless. I bought them to clamp the hose that goes into the transfer case when doing the clutch on my Focus RS, but I got coolant all over the ground and I was able to leak that.
The problem is that they aren't effective. You must modify the hoses before you can use them, so I wrapped them in black electric tape to prevent leaks. Wrap the tape around the mouth of the pliers, filling in the gap if necessary.
I attempted to use it the first time and it broke.
The line does not become too tight so as to pinch.
This set of line locks is great - I use them almost every day.
