Is there any way to tell how much pressure the compressor can The water holding tank of a 2000 gallon boat needs to be repaired. Approximately how much space will be added? What is the difference between 1/2" and Five eights, please? Are you interested?

I don't know how much pressure it can handle, but I do know that the water pressure depends on how far under the plug you are and not how big your tank is.

What is the effect of using it to seal RV water heater drains?

It's not clear to me. In my lawn tractor, I replaced it with a spare lug after the oil drain lug stripped. I don't get any leaks from it and it works well.

How do you know if this will fit in a 1/2" ?

As for whether it worked, I tried it on 1/2" copper pipe which is a little larger than 1/2 and it fit easily.

These were being used to temporarily plug in This was supposed to be a temporary plug for a 1/2" plastic water supply line

I got them to fit, but no matter what the wing nut was tightened to the water still leaked out. However, it is true that this product may not have been the optimal application for this product due to its flexible nature.

Easy to install, and does the job perfectly for holding hot coolant

This plug was used on a Buick V6 225 cu inch engine water pump heater port. It was easy to install and works perfectly to hold hot coolant at approximately 220 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the screw and washer are made of stainless steel, they are likely to last for.
