Having an adjustable plug like this is a great feature. Putting the plug in the hole, turning the lever until it tightens, and throwing the lever to lock them in place is all that is required. course, it fits into the hole because it is smaller than 11/16", so it must fit inside. But you can adjust it to fit in It was used to plug my garbage disposal back in after it had been knocked out by a dishwasher connection.

The item described is NOT the item you receive! Description states this plug is 11/16 x 11/16, but it is much smaller than 11/16 and its diameter is much smaller than that described
