The easiest way I have found to mount pegboard is this method, as it is the fastest and most consistent I've got it. Do not take the time to locate studs or cut boards to size Not a bit of it. It is just a matter of spacing them out correctly (e. g. On the 16th of every month Pre-drill your pilot holes if you're using anchors otherwise, drill your pilot holes directly into the plywood Set these spacers on the pegboard (mark the pegboard where you drilled your pilot holes/anchors, otherwise you will have a heck of a time finding where they are if you drill them after you have drilled them )) -- Tip I really couldn't have made this any easier. Just hang the board and it's ready. This is the only issue I disagree with other reviewers because it is a rather expensive (relatively speaking) package that, for what you get, comes with 15 of these spacers. The total number of hooks that I needed to hang 4 32x48 inch boards was 18 You can certainly say that. It was either 16 or nothing, and I had to order two packs whichever way I went. It would be better if they offered 12, 16 and 24 count packs rather than 15. Of course, it was just a marketing ploy, but oh well, I'd still say that it was totally worth purchasing two packs. A 4x8 pegboard kit and 2 drywall squares gave me a finished product. I put the pegboard through the holes in the drywall and traced circles on the Once the holes were drilled, plastic wall anchors were installed. After securing metal spacers against drywall with blue painter's tape, I painted the holes with black painter's tape. Pegboard is not covered with blue tape once it is installed. I held the board up and installed screws through it. The installation was easy and solid!.

The pros are There is an excess of thread size in screws and wall anchors. Standing off round feet is easy when mounting a peg board. Large pegs are too deep to be used with standing offs (larger pegs need to stick out beyond the back of the stand offs). This hook is only suitable for SMALL peg hooks.

Because the first pegboard we installed ended up with too small of a gap in some areas between it and the drywall, I bought these. Having more contact area and not sinking and staying on top of the drywall without piercing it makes them easier to put in place. It is impossible for me to say how well the plastic parts or screws work since I haven't used them. The holes were drilled into studs whenever possible and the pop-outs were used A pair of toggles was needed where there was no stud. A hex-driver was also purchased As far as the battery goes, I used my head screws To screw them in, I operated a drill.

Our grandson had nerf guns on his wall, so we used these pegboards to hang them. With a support that is very sturdy and allows for pegs to go in without damaging the wall, the finished product turned out great. We had only one issue with the grommets made of plastic. In order to mount eight screws, all 15 had to be used. It is the only part of the product that is cheap, and when you try to install it they crack or break. Previous projects we have done have never had as much trouble with a set. If you need to use all the mountings, make sure you have additional grommets in case something goes wrong.

It should be 16. The board comes in a set of 16, not 15. Easy to use, but less than 16 pieces would be better! A scam to keep buying more boxes appears to be going on. The three Duraboard peg boards I bought are Triton Duraboards I recommend it. Ordered two boxes since there were 16 sets to be ordered. A tight fit is required for screws to fit on 1/8" pegboard. Some people may have difficulty inserting and using the screws. Turning screws for the first time. Approximately how much space there is between the wall and the ceiling It's a good idea to use a pegboard. This product would have made my life much easier had I known about it After looking at pretty pegboards for a while, I realized that they were so expensive. I figured out it was MUCH cheaper and more convenient to buy a board at a home improvement store and embellish it myself, though I did not think out the mounting procedure thoroughly. You will not want to live without this product! This is amazing to me. I find it easy to use and it works well.
