The are strong, but they are not THAT powerful. They might weigh only 50 pounds at most.
Metal is the material of all of them! It is easy for the black paint to chip off. In addition to black and silver, I have a grey one.
The power of these is extremely strong, making them dangerous for children. You might be able to separate them if you

On our European cruise, I got these hooks to take with me. They were perfect. Those were of metal, and they attached to the walls of the cruise ship and held the traveling clothes line I brought with me. One thing I would like to stress is to proceed with Hooks of this strength are extremely difficult to break. My finger was in between two magnets as I was packing them up. They fell together while they were attached to the back of my hand. I didn't like it at all. There was a lot of trauma to my finger because of how difficult it was to separate the two. I have had the wound for about 10 days, and it hasn't fully recovered.
It was very difficult to get them apart after I accidentally stuck two of them together. They are shipped with a plastic disc between them, so make sure you save the disc when you're finished using them. The ease of use of the product will be increased if it can be easily removed from This is specifically because of the strength of the material, but it can also be hard to pry it off of a surface in an effort to remove it. We would hang them on the outter edges of the windows, since most newer houses have steel across the openings in front of the doors, windows and garages for support and we would use them to hang decorations, but you could use them for so many other things, too. They are all great, all in all.
In seconds after I was able to separate them, a giant blood blister appeared on my arm. In any case, I am using 4 magnetic panels to hold up a 12 pair shoe rack The price has not changed one bit. The magnets work perfectly on both large adult shoes and kids shoes. I have 4 pairs of large adult shoes and 8 medium kid shoes. While they are being applied, the hook can actually swivel, which makes it possible to use them in any direction.
The spacers were removed, and the two pieces slapped back together without separating. They are now stuck! Thus, there are FOUR magnetic hooks in my collection. There is one magnetic blob as well! DON'T TAKE ANY RISKS. Getting these apart can and will lead to them getting stuck together if you aren't careful. After watching YouTube, I came up with an idea for how I could slide them apart using my bookcase with hinged shelves!.
Her fellow teachers asked her to give them away after she took them to school and they saw them. Her teacher has told me that she has been given more than once to use at school (and apparently to give away). Getting these for myself so I can hang heavy items in my garage (no more than 25 lbs). This adhesive works really great, however, it is a bit hard to remove since it has a highly effective hold on metal (which is exactly what you need). Everyone that asks me about them is recommended to use them. Thank you for making these available.
Careful handling of these magnets, they will snap when too close to each other, and you will find it difficult to separate I am not sure what the warning outside the box means The TSA website "What you can bring" states that magnetized materials are OK to travel with by air. Don't let this bother you, I checked, and Magnets are okay! The other ones from another supplier worked horribly for me, but hopefully these will be better!.
This was the kind of thing I bought in the hopes that they would be strong enough to hold various objects around the office, but also ridiculous enough for me to have to remove them each time. It wasn't long before we came up with all sorts of cool DIY engineering experiments, and the "100 lb capacity" magnets were "goddess" magnets. I regret to inform you that there is yet again false advertising.
