As I read other reviews of these magnets, I wasn't sure how well they would hold up. This is my first purchase from you, and I am extremely happy. Strong magnets can be found in the magnets. There appears to be no problem with the quality of anything. In order to hold a handheld broom and dust pan on my toolbox / work bench, I bought these hooks to attach to the sides. Neither of them come close to testing how powerful the magnet is. Nevertheless, these seem to be doing a fine job. Considering what I have experienced, I would expect that they would be able to hold a good deal of weight if they held 100 lbs.

I do not know what to do, though. As an engineer, I just do what I have to do. I don't think it's strong enough! It was supposed to hold an 11-pound edc bag to a work bench that was all metal (not painted). The math for vertical weight was done by me. The sum of 3 x 120 is 40 lbs! There is no way this can hold even 11 lbs. It's not a happy day!.

The pros are A very strong statement. A recent cruise we took allowed us to hang child backpacks (10 pounds) from them. We did this since the walls of our cabin were made of metal. Also, we hang towels, pajamas and bathrobes from these hooks when the bunk beds are made out of metal. Having hung their items, the children have been encouraged to do so. The cons are Since the hooks arrived disassembled, the base had to be screwed into the hook in order for it to function. While not a huge concern, these hooks are very strong and tend to stick to each other tightly.

It's great to have magnetic hooks! No, they are not strong enough to hold 90 pounds. These were the most convenient way of hanging brooms, Christmas light strings in my steel garage ceiling, and other miscellaneous items without drilling holes or mounting them permanently. We have purchased four sets of these, and we are still finding uses for them. These products are recommended for anyone with a shed or garage made of metal. The use of a refrigerator should be carefully considered. When I hung a medium sized skillet on the side, it dislodged quite easily (it didn't fall off), but it did slide down and My fan slid down and the magnet disintegrated after I hung it. It weighed less than 40 pounds. The product is excellent for the price, but you'll need to think your application through first. The 20 more I need are on their way!.

My friend and I went to Home Depot to buy some magnets thinking a 30 lb magnet would be fine because the wreath is not very Had no idea you could use a magnet vertically and lose significant strength at the same time! A quick trip to Amazon saved the day! I was surprised at how strong these hook magnets are as they arrived the next day! Despite the rain we had, the wreath hung without slipping.
