If it comes with a latch, is there a strike plate to hook onto so that the latch can be caught ?

That doesn't mean that it does. During the installation of my panel, the latch was caught by a metal piece adjacent to the latch.

Shipper was very quick to get the order to me, and fit and function are superb

There is a problem in that the locking mechanism cannot be removed so that it can be replaced A shipper called the manufacturer to inquire about the keying of the product, only to find all of the units had an identical key. As the new paddle lock cannot be refitted once it is being delivered, the old ones cannot be reinstalled I keyed it. There is no problem with the fit and function of the form.
