In fact, both pieces, as well as the screws to install them, are included. I am very pleased with this In my motor home I use about twenty of them. You have to decide what strength you need - I think most of mine are 10# pulls. You just need to make sure they're positioned correctly.
Based on the color of the spring, you can tell how much latch force the spring has A blue number is 3, a silver number is 5, and a black number is
Don't know who the original manufacturer of my motor homes latches was, but these latches were direct replacements for my 2016 Bounder motor coach. We broke the original latches the first year we had the motorhome because the latch was not lined up correctly by Fleetwood. Replaced 2-latch set over 4 years ago &amp now I have to replace three latches Replacements have been working since then.
You should go for it.

There is a problem with the latch on my motor home's pull out pantry Fatigue was clearly to blame for this On the original, there was no part number, but the marking belongs to Southco. As I felt the weight of the pantry would be significant when loaded, I selected a pull model with 10 lbm. As it turned out, it was impossible for the holes to align because the catch was wider than the original ones, so I drilled new holes for that piece. The "grabber" piece, however, lined up with the existing holes perfectly. This was a fairly quick fix although I had to remove the pantry face in order to align the grab handle and mark the strike edge on the cabinet using the old, broken catch. There were no mounting screws with the speakers, so I took off a star. My original screws were still in place, so I didn't have to make a trip to the hardware store for screws. There is a protruding piece that is more substantial than the original. But new holes must be drilled because the old ones are too wide.
I have other locks like these that were different brands. I had some cabinet locks like these in the past, but they were of a different brand and were a big headache. Every time we traveled in a motorhome, one or two of them failed. As of yet, I have not had the same issues with this brand (Southco), so am very glad that I fell in love with it. These Southco brand soaps are a little heavier and bigger than the one I had previously (a generic, no-name brand). The outcome seems good so far, but I'll keep my fingers crossed.
My 2017 Bay Star RV has Newmar latches that were supplied by the factory, so I purchased these to replace them. Installing is the opposite of removing. Removal is done by two Phillips screws, and installation is done by two holes. Interestingly, the latch retention pressure seems to be the same as those on the OE units, perhaps even to the point of these actually being those on There are a few things to keep in mind when getting a multi-year pair of binders as these seem to become wear items after a few years of continued use I think it'd be a good idea to stash one in our RV tool bay.
My goal was to keep the doors shut on the new refer while I was on the road without drilling into it. I never have to remember to put some gizmo around the door handles to keep it closed anymore because these are too low-profile to be seen. They are far better than any Velcro bands around the door handles I had before and keep the sleek and modern appearance intact as well.
On my last trip, I got into my RV and all my dishes were piled up on the floor. My RV has the same latch, Southco. My only inconvenience is picking up the containers since I use Corelle. * Nevertheless, some of the problem can be attributed to me, as I hadn't used any non slip in the cabinet, and the latch worked loosely. I'm not sure what class the spring I removed was rated as, but if you can tell the color of it, you have better eyes than I do. I replaced it with the spring that weighs 10 pounds. Almost all of the holes lined up, and I was on my way. As you can see, the 10# feels more like 4#, so I didn't need to jerk on the cabinet as much as I thought. There will be no problem! (The old 5# felt like 1#)
There will be no problem!.
Among products I trust, this is the only one that keeps them closed. In addition, it is a simple product to install and its cost is extremely These Southco C3-model doors and drawers now have 4 holes and 2 drawers that stick and do not open It seems odd that RV companies do not use them when developing new products.
Since the original was probably 20 years old, we hope the new one will last long as well. A small difference existed in the two mounting holes on the hook piece, but the latch matched In less than 10 minutes, I drilled two new pilot holes and attached it to the bracket. The door to the bathroom of our RV must be kept shut. The new one did not come with screws used the screws from the old one, which were in perfect condition.
My refrigerator in our motorhome was broken and the small writing on it made it impossible to tell what brand it was. I found these and they are the exact replacements. This item was delivered quickly and installed very easily.
