My review has photos and dimensions of what the 304ss is really like. 304 stainless steel hinges are indeed good, and this is one of them. Currently, I work as a mechanical engineer in oil and gas, where I deal daily with large equipment and exotic steel materials. This item duped me into thinking it was actually 304 SS, but that this was just a fabrication. I do not believe it. It is 304SS material of good quality. To cut through this tough material in my garage, I used my handheld cutoff wheel for a while. If you try to cut it with a manual hacksaw, it won't work. We expect to be there for quite a while and pass through multiple blades. In case you are concerned about the material claim, let me put this to rest. There is actually 304ss in there. The hinge was used to hinge the door on a camp kitchen box that will frequently be outdoors, and I was looking for more than a cheap nickel plated hinge that would rust rapidly. In addition to questions about dimensions, everyone has questions regarding the size. My goal was to know too before I placed my order. I have uploaded several pictures showing the measured dimensions of this hinge for your review. *For those of you who are inexperienced with stainless materials, let me mention one final point. If you intend to connect this hinge, use stainless steel screws/hardware. Use ONLY stainless hinges and DO NOT use nickel or zinc plated screws or hardware, as stainless hinges will attack and corrode the plated steel hardware through galvanic corrosion. It is something I deal with every day at work as an engineer. It is easy to learn more by searching the web. The main thing to remember from this is to use stainless steel Don't buy galvanized/plated steel hardware because you want to save a few dollars. Make sure you are using stainless steel.
After I cut my cuts, I cleaned them up quickly on a 9-inch The disc sander is an inch wide, and the bench sander is a large one Wire wheel mounted on the vehicle. As for the predrilled holes, they were not deep enough for the #8 x 3" SS deck screws I wanted to use, so I simply dressed the holes further with a hand drill and countersink bit until the leaves would line up with the desired screws. Having these hinges allowed me to lift up ventilated porch skirts periodically to inspect and clean under the porch so I could inspect for damage. In this design, only the hinge knuckles are visible, allowing for a nice, clean look in place of unsightly.
For my table saw, I used this to make a dropable outfeed table. Because of the hinge, the first foot of outfeed remains extended permanently on the ship, but the last three feet can be dropped. If I need to move my table saw, I can easily make the table smaller. Because the hinge is wide enough, I'm able to sink screws a comfortable distance from the edge of the melamine top so it won't rip out easily. Due to its stainless steel construction, I won't have to worry about it rusting in this humid coastal environment.
There is a strong and sturdy feel to this hinge. My husband and I installed it on the box of outdoor cushions for our patio lounge. So far, there have been no problems.
There is more work to do than the product should have and I will not be ordering it.
But look at that The order of three of these came in three separate boxes, and I ordered them in one transaction. Having never dealt with warehouses, inventory and the like, I may not know everything about them. It is true that this box would be much smaller for these hinges. It would be possible for all three to be placed in a.
The roof vent of a greenhouse is equipped with this clip. Every other hole needs to be screwed. I have no problem whatsoever.
