I think it's made out of some kind of molded rubber that doesn't really make a difference to me.

For using with Butane Can sealers to refill lighters, it works well

An A-. I would buy this item again, as it worked well and the shipping was super fast! Anybody who uses butane indoors semi often should have this (Dabs, No, but I'm actually using the small blue propane torch from @*3 Hardware. My favorite part is the charcoal igniter/topper, as it lasts for over a decade. I usually get two of them at a time and am good for months.
