Questions & Answers

Is there a recessed center to these? I'd like to use small screws to secure them to the bottom of a wooden cutting board, but they can't scrape! ?

The centers, on the other hand, stick out further than the outer ring. This aids in the soundproofing process. I've used them on the bottoms of other things, but because they're made of soft rubber, moving the item they're on is difficult. They're ideal for cabinetry. They work well and are reasonably priced.

Are these only for cabinet doors, or can they be used for regular large doors as well?

When used with cabinets, they wouldn't close, so I used them around the kitchen for other doors that were slamming into counters or windowsills. The adhesive isn't great, so I had to replace a few of them not long after they were hung.

Is it true that the color is brown as stated in the product review, or are they clear?

The bumpers are clear; the paper behind them is brown, but the bumpers themselves are nice, clear, and soft. I hope that this information is useful.

Hello, can the cabinet doors be closed completely and tightly with this product?

Our cabinet doors stopped closing completely after we installed ours. It's not immediately apparent, but it's distinct from the previous situation. Open to a maximum of 1/8"

Neighbors who were making a racket are now quiet! My studio is on the same side of the wall as my neighbor's kitchen cabinets
5/5

After months of cabinet slamming, I decided to talk to my neighbors about the problem, only to discover that they didn't have any door bumpers - or, at the very least, the ones that are completely flat. I went through my cabinets and discovered that I had the same problem. I made two purchases - One I gave to a neighbor and the other I used on my cabinets. They are peeling. Stick to it, put a "nipple" cushion in the middle (it muffles better than a flat surface), and get a good deal - For less than $12, you can get a hundred of them. Only 12 are available for that price at home improvement stores, and it took me less than 15 minutes to install them on the kitchen and bathroom cabinet doors and drawers. I even put them on the top, middle, and bottom of my closet doors. Picture hangers and small bumpers for frames protect your walls and are included in the box as a nice bonus.

Sound-deadening bumper is a brilliant idea
5/5

These are fantastic, extremely simple to install, and have significantly reduced the banging that occurs when my kitchen cabinet doors are opened and closed. I even used them on drawers that previously had not been a problem but are now no longer. Installation was a breeze; all you have to do is figure out where your cabinet door overlaps the frame and slams into it, causing the noise, and that's where you put the bumper; some of my cabinets are wonky, so it's not always the top and bottom corners. But they work so well everywhere that I ended up putting them on the doors and then putting them on the frame rather than the inside of the drawers for the drawers because it was easier to ensure that I had enough surface area to give them a good stick. I'm curious to see how they hold up in the Arizona heat and lack of humidity over time, so I'll keep you posted if anything goes wrong. br>br>With the two photos I uploaded, I hope to show you the size of the bumper and the fact that it's not just flat and round; it has a nipple shape in the middle that improves sound dampening quality, which isn't something I've had with other bumper objects such as rubber felt or silicone, and I've noticed that this design does make a significant difference in dampening the sound of the cabinets banging shot.

a thorough examination Overall, a fantastic product with a rating of 5 out of 5 stars: 1) Softness: br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b This product was purchased over a year ago, and I had completely forgotten where we purchased it
5/5

(Amazon) We looked in Lowes and Wal-Mart but couldn't find it. Meijers, Target, and Wal-Mart are some of the most well-known stores in the United States. Everyone had the same stiff product, but this was the only one soft enough to absorb vibrations from a heavy kitchen drawer closing to the tap of a cabinet door closing. br>2) Material that is clear: I like it because it's less noticeable than the brown felt pads, which are one shade of brown, and the white teflon dots, which are usually hard. br>3) Unique Water ripple shape: Unlike the flat square shape or the more common round dome shape, this shape, when combined with the soft durometer material, makes the door close much more softly. It works well as a sound deadening material, and I can see it being useful in fine china cabinets to soften the vibrations and shock caused by door closing. br>4) Back of the Sticky: They're simple to use, but they'll fall off if the surface is rough, the surface isn't clean, or the environment is dusty, as others have mentioned. Applying a little glue and sticking things back together is simple enough. br>5) Packet Size: I was disappointed that most stores only sold 12-packet packets. Not one hundred, but twenty. We had recently purchased a home and required these items in each of the nearly 50 rooms. From the kitchen to the garage, pantry, storage, and every drawer in every bedroom, office, nursery, guest room, and work shed, there are 80 drawers and cabinet doors to choose from. This package size was much more convenient, as I didn't have to rip through a dozen packages and spend around $3-$4 on it. Every pack costs $5. br>6) In conclusion: I'm buying from this vendor for the second time. This contact should be kept in mind, especially since this product is currently unavailable in all brick and mortar stores. br>br>Application: br>1) Make sure the surface you're going to attach to is completely clean. br>2) Before applying, always check to see where the door or drawer will hit. It may seem self-evident, but I've had to re-read it several times. The button must be applied twice because it must touch the opposite surface in order to function properly. br>br>Shipping: br>br>Shipping: br>br>Shipping: br>1) The item was delivered on time and in good condition. br>2) Amazon was very accommodating when it came to texting and emailing shipment, delivery, and delivery confirmation information. br>3) It was delivered by the US Postal Service. If all you're buying is this, keep an eye out in your mailbox for it in a padded envelope.

The best kitchen item I've ever purchased
5/5

The best kitchen item I've ever purchased. Say goodbye to the deafening thud of slamming doors. My mother has a habit of simply letting go of the cabinets and allowing them to slam shut, so I installed these before she came to visit and couldn't be happier. They reduce noise and likely help to extend the life of cabinet doors by reducing impact; they are simple to install (though time consuming for all of the kitchen cabinets); and mine have not fallen off after 5 months of use. When I installed them, I pressed them firmly against the cabinet for 30 seconds before releasing them. This, I believe, is necessary in order for them to last. After my father returned home, he installed these at his house, but they fell off because he simply stuck them on the cabinets like stickers. He hasn't had any fall off since installing a second using the same method I did.

It's deafening how quiet it is
5/5

These have a nice thickness and a diameter that isn't too big. The pointy middle section is my favorite part. I noticed that the middle thing on the old ones was either worn down or non-existent when I was replacing them on my kitchen cabinets. existent. The difference was night and day when I replaced the old one and performed a test-slam! The sound of the before was clanky, and the sound of the after was muffled. br>br>Oh, what a relief! br>br>At least one is in every cabinet and drawer in my house now! It's a lot more peaceful now.
