Questions & Answers

These were purchased to keep glass tops and wood furniture separate. "Not to be used on furniture," says the package. Is it safe or is it not?

Between a flat painted surface and a fitted piece of glass, these are my go-tos. If I tried to move the little plastic things after a while, they stuck to the painted surface and removed the paint - As a result, they are unlikely to be suitable for separating glass from wood furniture, in my opinion. I'd look for ones that are made of glass for that purpose. Despite the fact that nothing is guaranteed to work perfectly in the long run.

Do the pads have any elasticity?

They do not appear to be very adaptable, to my knowledge. They are difficult to bend.

Do these have a bad odor because they're made of toxic vinyl?

They have the appearance and odor of tiddlywinks. There is no odor in the room. They're made of a tough plastic material.

Is the sticky side on both sides?

Both sides have a grip, but neither side is sticky or adhesive.

PROS AND CONS - SLIDING GLASS TOP FIX THAT IS CHEAP AND EASY
5/5

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who responded to my question about whether this would be effective in keeping a glass top on my bar table from shifting. This glass top has been bothering me for quite some time now. Since I got it, it has been bothering me because it moves when I lightly touch it! THESE CHEAP LITTLE PADS COMPLETELY FIXED THE PROBLEM! PROS: br>br> br>br>IT is a word that has a lot of different meanings depending on who you ask. HOLDS! I cleaned both sides of the glass as well as the table underneath it, dried it, and then placed one disk in each of the four corners. I carefully placed the glass in place and noticed a smudge beneath it, so I gently lifted that side to inspect it. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO BUDGE! IT'S GETTING A HANDLE ON YOU! EASY TO USE - br>br> I AM NOT HANDY AT ALL, but lifting the two-foot-by-two-foot pane of glass and replacing it was the most difficult part. Placing the four disks in each corner and replacing the glass was a piece of cake. CHEAP - br>br> FOR THE MONEY, THIS IS THE MOST I'VE EVER RECEIVED! Since I got it, this loose top has been bothering me, and for a few dollars, I was able to solve the problem of not being able to even gently wipe off the table top without the glass moving. QUANTITY: QUANTITY: QUANTITY: QUANTITY: QUANTITY: QUANTITY: QUANT For the money, you get TEN small disks, so if you have a large desk glass table top or a few smaller table tops, you'll have plenty to work with. CONS: br>br> br>I'm not aware of any. I'll update if anything changes, but for now, they're like mighty tiny suction cups clinging to the ceiling!.

It's ideal for separating a glass top from the rest of the furniture
5/5

These were exactly what I needed and fulfilled my requirements perfectly. Because they are so thin, you must examine them carefully to ensure that you have separated them all. I received the package with the exact number written on it. When putting the glass top on the furniture, you must also work slowly so the discs do not slide around. The discs'magnetize' and shift (in a similar way to static cling). Someone had written that they were very thin and didn't provide the same level of protection as other furniture "pads. " This type of surface, however, isn't designed for that purpose. These are used to separate a glass top or other item/object from your furniture top, according to my furniture repairman. You desire that they be slim. Also, the thicker bumper pads aren't something you want. or a sticky substance. for this. A'separator' is what you're looking for. That is exactly what these are. The glass is'separated' from the furniture top by them. Perfect.

At first, I wasn't impressed, but after some time, I was
4/5

* UPDATE
I wrote this review right after "installing" them, and I wasn't as impressed as I had hoped. After a few hours, I decided to fiddle with it, but to my surprise, the glass won't move unless I use a lot of force. I also went back and added a second one to each of the four small "legs" that attach to the underside of the glass on the desk. So it appears that they will work out in the end, and I would recommend them! I guess you just have to wait for them to settle, or in my case, "metal" to settle. I uttered the word "wood. " br>br>* ORIGINAL
I purchased these after deciding to remove the glass top from my old desk and place it across the open space of my newer L-shaped desk. shaped desk to give me more desktop real estate, as well as a straight edge for my peripherals, since I chose to center myself diagonally with three monitors rather than along one of the desk's straight edges, and it allows me to roll my chair in closer for more comfort to reach said peripherals. The only issue was that the glass top slid around a lot. These were purchased in the hopes of assisting it in remaining relatively motionless. Don't get me wrong: there is a significant difference between having them and not having them. However, they are not performing as well as I had hoped. Perhaps I misunderstood the product and did not give a fair review. Maybe I do understand what they're trying to accomplish, but they fall short of my expectations. Who knows what will happen! br>br>The only thing I can say for certain is that I'm glad I got them at the price I did, when I did, rather than the price they are now. I'm also fairly certain that I'll take a different path in order to achieve better results.

Glass Shelving Set on Thin Silicone Disks These were exactly what I was looking for to go on a glass bathroom shelf with a metal bracket
5/5

Because they're so thin, they're ideal for adding just enough shim and gripping the shelf while still allowing the shelf to slide in smoothly. They would work well anywhere you don't need the height of the taller plastic bumpers to set a glass tabletop, shelving, or just add some friction between glass plates so they don't slide, such as on a table top where you put photos and such between two pieces of glass, but I'm sure they were lost with various renters and the shelf being removed for cleaning.

'Three thumbs down,' says the narrator
3/5

I should've read the other reviews first! However, none of the reviews went into great detail about why the product is so bad. They're not only non-adhesive, but they're also slick! It's made of a slick, smooth plastic that won't buckle under the weight of your body! I initially mistook it for a gummy bumper, but it turned out to be smooth, slick flat circles. The glass is completely useless because it slides.

It's fantastic! I needed a clear glass cushion to keep the glass top of my dining table from shifting
5/5

I wanted something light and airy so the top wouldn't be too high off the ground. I also wanted a product that didn't require any adhesive, and this one is ideal because it's very thin while still performing admirably. To keep the 42" top in place, I used five cushions. This product has made me very happy.

For my medicine cabinet, this is exactly what the doctor ordered
5/5

This is something I use on a regular basis. For my medicine cabinet, I needed a hinged mirror. Because the cabinet door has no handle, fingerprints are all over the mirror when it is opened and closed. After this small item is hung on the mirror, there will be no more. In the month that I've had the pad, it hasn't fallen off, and I've noticed a significant reduction in finger prints when I press on the item to open the medicine cabinet. There is no adhesive; it only sticks to glass because of its natural stickiness. I have other ideas for it because it's a bumper pad (under a glass top to protect wood, etc. ), but for now, it's just what the doctor ordered. Yes, I am a physician, and I did place an order for them!.
