WHY would you wrap a glass stopper in plastic? Plastic components are not found in any good decanter

WHY would you wrap a glass stopper in plastic? I would have chosen a different decanter if I could have seen it in the photos (shame on me for using my phone). Glass stoppers are supposed to have a tapered shape. Glass should be used instead of plastic, which will break over time and leave you with a useless decanter. br>br>Wouldn't do it again, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Buyer's remorse is setting in.

I did not receive what I had requested. Five whiskey glasses and a decanter are listed in the description. I received 8 glasses that did not resemble the ones in the photo, as well as no decanter.
