This set was on Amazon as a special a month ago when I first saw it. They sold out while I was sleeping on it. It reappeared, I added the set to my cart, and it was quickly sold out. It reappeared, and I placed another order for it. That was the extent of my desire for this particular item. On the 3rd of March, I received my Dragon decanter. When I got home, I started unpacking it from the box right away. I started with the base stand; one of the support poles holding the decanter was completely broken off, and an attempt to glue it back together failed, even though the paint around the area was chipped. Furthermore, two of the other support poles were extremely shaky. I've made the decision to keep it and fix it myself. The set of glasses is stunning in and of itself. I've previously received clearly returned goods from Amazon; they should thoroughly inspect the item before sending it to a new customer.

br>br>I have to say that this entire set has left me very impressed. br>br>The glasses are packaged in a lovely box that is ideal for gifting. br>br>One of my main concerns was that because this was a glass set, it might be damaged in transit from the shipping depot to my home, but when I opened the box, the foam packaging inside was so secure and form fitting that I almost couldn't get my glasses out. By no means am I implying that this is a problem. Instead of being sorry, I'd rather be safe. br>br>The glasses themselves have a surprising amount of weight to them, despite their fragile appearance. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the glasses sitting at a 45-degree angle at first, but after a few uses, I've grown to like it. On the glasses, the white dragon logo looks fantastic. br>br>They even included a small glass funnel to pour your preferred beverage into the decanter, which I hadn't considered. br>br>It appears that the stand is in good condition. There was nothing that stood out as particularly noteworthy or exceptional; everything was simply adequate. br>br>The only real drawbacks I can think of are the following, and before you read them, please understand that they are minor. 1. br>br> The aforementioned funnel appears to be extremely fragile, despite the rest of the glassware's sturdiness. br>br>2. Handle and wash with extreme caution. br>br> The Dragon logo would look fantastic on the Decanter, but it's left blank, with the logo appearing only on the glasses. To me, it appears to be a missed opportunity, but I may be in the minority on this one. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. The stand has holes cut into the wood that are filled with a sponge-like substance to provide padding for the glasses. I'd make the next batch just a smidge larger so that the glasses could sit on them normally or be flipped upside down so that the rims of the glasses fit perfectly on the foam. br>br>In conclusion, this is a fantastic set with a huge number of positives and only a few minor flaws that is, in my opinion, extremely reasonably priced. This set will certainly fit the bill if you're looking for a nice set of drinkware or a center piece to add to your serving collection.

For the money, it is extremely inexpensive. It should have been $35 when I bought it as a gift. Instead of $82, the price is $99 The glass is extremely thick, much thicker than the glassware found in dollar stores. I'm embarrassed to give it as a gift (for the money) because it appears so cheap. It will be returned to me without a doubt. I was planning on giving a gift tonight, but due to the last-minute nature of the situation, I'm instead giving cash. It was such a letdown. I'll say that if I paid between $30 and $40, I'd be overjoyed.

What a wonderful present! I've bought their glasses as gifts for friends and family, and they're always a hit. They look fantastic on the bar and are a lot of fun to drink cocktails from.

On every level, I give it a five-star rating. It was given to a bourbon connoisseur who already had a decanter as a gift. The previous one is currently being stored. In his kitchen/bar area, the set makes a stylish display. The design is brilliantly engineered, and the final product/poor/sip is noticeably fresh. For everyone, this is a fantastic gift idea!.
