Despite looking at several different styles of chair covers previously, I was concerned because my parson's chair was a little larger than the majority of the recommended dimensions. I am so happy that my package arrived so quickly! I love how well they fit! When I first saw it, I was concerned that it may be too small, but it's very stretchy, so I just kept tugging it into place and with a little bit of effort I got it to fit. A rusty red color on the chair worried me. I was worried the color would show through the lighter taupe slipcover. When I looked close, there was no way to see This price is great and I will order a few more sets to switch out as needed for cleaning or for a different look. As a cosmetic covering, it is very nice. In the past couple of weeks, my kitchen table chairs have been used as scratching posts by my cats. I may hate seeing them all mangled, but I simply cannot find the time to fix them at the moment. The material was comfortable and the fit was perfect. Despite their waterproof status, they are not prone to water damage. I submitted a review but it was not accepted, perhaps because these are advertised as waterproof, which I do not believe they are. My chairs are my favorite and I hated to cover them, but I have cats who like to use my furniture as a scratching post. I didn't want to buy big, bulky plastic covers so I went with I like the way these coverings look and the way they fit my chairs well. I am going to try a little double stick fabric tape to see if that helps. The only thing is they bunch up a little on the seat. Nonetheless, it doesn't really stand out that much. As for these oversized dining chairs, my cockatoo did a number on the original fabric, and these covers gave them new life without having to pay the high price of recovering them. I bought three different colors and change them as often as I like. The quality of these chairs and the way the look and feel are transformed will be enjoyed by you no matter what color they are.
