I've had mine for about 6 months and am very happy with it. I did remove the heavy ball from inside and replaced it with an old metal blender ball mixer. The shaker, on the other hand, is absolutely fantastic. Much better than the blender bottles, I like the look, the textured feel, the rounded bottle to eliminate clumps, the wider opening for smoother drinking, and so on. However, I was concerned that the heavier ball would break the shaker, so that's the only thing I changed. I had three old blender bottles, and all I had to do was swap the metal ball for my Contigo shaker. Love it.
Stainless steel is the material used.
Plastic is used to make the shaker ball, which weighs 0. Weight: 8 lbs

There has been no response after three weeks. br>br>This is ridiculous because it's clearly a manufacturing defect; I have cheap $5 bottles that have lasted for years, but these only lasted a month. br>br>I'm still looking for replacements.
Between the seals, liquid seeps in. Purchase is not recommended! This bottle is so close to being perfect, but it's still far from it, and here's the only, but significant, flaw: Between the stainless cup portion and the lower plastic threading, water/liquid will seep through - where you won't be able to clean or dry So, unlike a hydro flask/FiftyFifty, the cap does not screw directly onto the metal bottle, but rather onto a threaded plastic ring that connects the two. As a result, drinking from it is extremely hazardous. Every time you use this bottle, mold and chemicals (glue/adhesives) seep into your drink. Because this is marketed as a shaker bottle, I used it to make a protein shake, which worked perfectly. Brown protein drink, on the other hand, began to seep out from beneath the plastic ring. After I used the bottle, I cleaned it and only filled it with water, and guess what? From beneath the lower plastic ring, a brown protein drink seeps out. This bottle would have been perfect if the lower plastic ring had been removed and the cap had been screwed directly onto the stainless cup. This bottle is AWFUL; do not purchase.
Until yesterday, I considered this bottle to be excellent. I stuffed the bottle into my lunch bag. The cap that connects the mouthpiece to the cap came off between home and work, spilling my shake all over the inside of my lunchbox. I assumed I hadn't screwed it in properly at first, but upon closer inspection, the threaded tabs on the mouthpiece had broken clean off. I'm no longer able to close the bottle safely. The clear plastic bottle portion is great, and the cap is well-designed, but I can't give this product more than one star because it won't seal and hold what I put in it after 14 days of light use. Very let down. br>br>I'm in the middle of negotiating with Contigo about a replacement cap. I'm hoping it'll be a one-time thing. a problem If this is the case, I will update the review to reflect this.
Unfortunately, I quickly discovered that when the bottle is turned to the side or shaken, the bottle leaks. This defeats the purpose of using a shaker bottle because every time I try to mix protein, it leaks and spills all over the place. I've double-checked the information on the o- I've looked under the lid for cracks or flaws but haven't discovered anything. It leaks even when placed in a bag on its side. If you only use this product vertically, I think it's a great buy, but if you're like me and keep it in your gym bag and mix protein with it, you should look into other options first.
As the whole lid snapped into place, I realized what was going on. I was surprised to find that the entire lid screwed on and the drinking/pouring spout snapped into place when I received the item. This pleased me, as you can imagine my reservations about a snap on top with a canister for shaking things up. The lid screws on tightly, and the drinking/pouring spout snaps into place tightly as well. br>The container's interior has rounded edges rather than corners. This makes it much easier to mix powders because they don't get stuck or collect in corners. Thicker powders can also be broken down with the help of the small ball. Keeping it in the container also has no effect on the user's ability to drink. br>My only quibble is with the SKU sticker on the unit's bottom. I'm not sure what kind of adhesive is being used, but it's a beast! br>br>Aside from that, this shaker is quite effective.
Let me begin by saying that I've been buying Contigo bottles for well over 7 years, and I prefer their brand to competitors' simply because of Contigo's superior quality and leak-proof design. design of the proof That is no longer the case. I bought two Contigo bottles recently, one of which broke after the third use. Look at the images below. Like the cork on a champagne bottle, the snap lip popped right off. Totally demolished. Even before the bottle broke, the lids on both bottles I bought were not leak proof in the least. I'd get remnants of my drink dripping all over the place every time I shook my bottle. I attempted to contact customer service four times. "I'm sorry, but all of our lines are currently busy," said the operator on each call. " I'm never going to buy another Contigo bottle. Given how durable these bottles once were, it's a shame to say this.
