This product should not be used to make maple syrup. I returned mine after learning that it had been sprayed with some kind of non-stick coating. a coating that sticks This isn't 100% stainless steel and I wouldn't recommend boiling consumables in it for long periods of time in it for long periods of time in it for prolonged (It's a bummer, isn't it?
On the pans and lids that we received, there were no sharp edges.
It was made in Vietnam, according to the bottom stamp. I have two of these pans and they are fantastic. They're a high-quality steel that bakes evenly and cleans up easily.
There's nothing on my trays that tells me what grade of stainless steel they're made of. However, I can assure you that they bake evenly and can withstand temperatures up to 525°F. They are beautifully constructed and do not warp. My trays were made in Vietnam, and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

We host a lot of parties, and these pans are ideal for serving grilled meats and large quantities of vegetables. This was a gift for our son-in-law. We have a brother-in-law who enjoys grilling as much as we do. It's sturdy enough to hold meats or vegetables when filled. Cleaning is a breeze.
Except for the fact that it was shipped poorly packaged and thus arrived with minor bends, I am pleased with the product. However, it is still extremely useful.
This year, I purchased this item in order to reduce maple syrup. Everything went smoothly! It had a lot of surface area on which the water could boil. We used this in our backyard over an open fire, multiple times and for hours at a time, and the pan is still in excellent condition; we will be able to use it again next year during syrup season!.
I use these pans for litter boxes, just like another reviewer. It's much easier to scoop litter out of metal litter pans than it is from plastic pans when using a metal litter scoop. It's also simple to wash your clothes on a regular basis. I've never been able to completely clean a plastic litter box, but these puppies will be spotless when I'm finished. And, although I didn't consider it when I bought them because mine are hidden, they simply look better than plastic pans. br>br>They're a little longer than a standard litter box, but a little narrower. One of my cats isn't paying attention, but the other isn't moving around with much grace. However, she has yet to file a formal complaint. br>br>Because one of my cats is an aggressive coverer, I chose the one with 6" sides. The 6" pans do a good job of keeping everything inside except the high-flying litter. br>br>I wasn't sure if it would work out before I bought it. Would the cats mind if the space was a little tighter? What if you scratched a metal surface? Is it really that much easier to scoop and clean? Yes, to each and every one! I bought another one because I was so happy with the first one I got.
After searching for metal litter pans and discovering that every single one that had ever existed under the name "cat litter pan" had been discontinued, I began to google every metal and deep pan combination I could think of. I was sick of throwing away scratched-up, stinky plastic boxes on a regular basis. I'm so glad I came across this pan and learned about litter boxes! It's a fantastic package! Cats seemed to enjoy it, and if you can handle the sound of claws on metal, you'll be fine. I agree with the food service crowd that the corner was dented when it was delivered. The cats don't seem to mind, but if I were using it to serve food, I'd hope it was better packaged. The dent isn't a problem because this is just a garbage dump. Oh, and when they dig in it, very little falls over the high sides! This is a significant advantage!.
It arrived bent on the corner due to a lack of padding in the box! It was just this pan stuffed into a box with no room to spare. As a result, when the box's corner was struck during shipping, the pan's corner was also struck, resulting in a bent corner. The pan itself is fine; I don't think I'd ever bend it in normal use, so I didn't give it four stars because of the poor packaging.
It worked well as a maple syrup boiling pan. The only flaw is that one of the corners was crushed when it was delivered.
After barbecuing the ribs, it's a good idea to serve them to hungry family members. We should get a new pan, according to the kids.
