The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you are swinging around a cup with liquid inside something like a paper cup works just fine because the lid stays on. In a case like this, sloshing will probably get whatever you are carrying on your belongings. If you're traveling enough that this is your question, I recommend just getting a rolling bag that has a cup holder.
Most of the time, I assume drinks will be sealed when they're delivered, so I guess it should not be an issue. It had been so long since I got it that so many people asked me where I got it. This handle is of the highest quality and does not slip. I did not have to worry about my drink spilling all over when it was full.
Mom has two reasons for not being able to carry things. To begin with, she has arthritis in her fingers, and to add to that, she is dependent on grab bars at home because she has trouble walking. Update I've been using it every day for almost a year, and it's still fantastic. My oversize tumbler's lid has no problem going back to its original shape if I take it off. I love it because it keeps my drink in my hand and frees up both of my hands! It fits perfectly into my 32 oz cup (4 inches across the top which is perfect). I can wiggle it all the way up to just below the rim because it is flexible enough. I like that it stays snug, feels secure (even if it is full), could not ask for more.
