Amazon Basics Compostable Individually Wrapped Cutlery Kits, Pack of 250

The number of sets is vast! The lightweight set was the set I bought. The price was great, but I didn't really think about what I'd do with 500 sets of not so good plasticware afterwards. It was gasp-inducing when the package arrived and I opened it. How in the world did I get the stuff I bought? Weight is indeed a factor in the lightweight set. For foods that need a lot of pressure to be picked up, it is not designed to work. The plastic wrap on each set makes it convenient to take with me for lunch or to keep in our camper. I don't know what else this set does for me. It's so cheaply made and flimsy that my husband hates them. This won't be of any use to him. Almost any food you might need a spoon for (except for hot things) can be eaten with the spoon, from pudding to cottage cheese to oatmeal. Cakes and pies, as well as softer foods like tuna salad, macaroni and potatoes, and soft meats can be handled with the fork. In any case, the knife doesn't do much good. The machine is capable of cutting many types of fruits and bread. There will be a sandwich or two, but don't expect to eat a cut of I love it! There is a bit more plasticware on this product than you expect. In addition to being shorter, it is also lighter than my normal belt (see photograph). It would have made more sense to think about how much 500 sets would cost before buying because I have no idea what I will do with them all. There are just a few days left until Halloween. My trick-or-treat bags might not be noticed by the kids if I slip a few sets inside. )

I think it was only around $12, but even at a higher price this set is excellent for lightweight bulk plasticware. You will get bendy utensils with your purchase of $00 when I bought mine. I think these would make a great lunch box treat The age at which a plastic knife could be misused has passed. I wouldn't be too concerned about a kid using this utensil because it won't do much damage. In my opinion, they are what they are advertised to be. I give them 4 stars. The listing makes it very clear that the flatware is lightweight, so you cannot believe it'll be of high quality. I find it to be usable and not awful. The spork is a far superior product! I can't believe how many sets there are! Unlike flimsy plastic spoons, forks, or knives, I can use these stainless steel ones with ease. You would be better off splurging on higher quality heavier weight plastics if you need more robust utensils. You will be glad you paid the small fee not to bend your fork or knife when you are trying to cut into the.

Listed below are our semi-finalists On our annual retreat, we decided to use disposable cutlery so we wouldn't have to spend so much time in the kitchen and can enjoy ourselves more. Many people did not like the idea of using all that plastic, so they opted to use compostable cutlery as a compromise. Despite a couple of small scratches on the plastic, the cutlery is sturdy and the knives and fork tines are sharp enough to use. If it does take a commercial composting facility to break down these, they're still better than regular plastic, don't you think? did they think sealing each set in plastic packaging that cannot be composted or recycled was a good idea? Be sure to purchase the bulk boxes of compostable cutlery rather than the sets if you're willing to pay extra for them. By doing so, you will only be increasing the amount of plastic in the world.

Presented in a plastic bag! My face flushes as I imagine I have made the wrong decision to buy compost instead of using more plastic. Compatibility should extend to the packaging as well! Using the product (once you open the plastic bag) is a great experience! There is only one thing they have to do make everything compatible.

Two packages were damaged by the plastic packaging sealer in which the cutlery was short and ten packages were missing two knives, one fork, and a spoon I got 485 good packs however, two packages were damaged in that the cutlery were not the correct size Two spoons, knives or forks were included in some packages, and a knife, fork or spoon was absent in others.

I will visit this item again so I can purchase it. In reading the other reviews, I would say yes, it would be preferable if Amazon would use the natural origin packaging for wrapped cutlery kit deliveries. Although PLA needs a commercial composting facility to be composted in a timely manner, I feel using a polylactic acid polymer of natural origin is preferable to using a petroleum-based I am surprised to find that on occasion a cutlery item is included in the package when I use this product. As far as I can tell, the packaging system could have easily detected and avoided such situations. Another issue is the differences in the orientation of the items in the packaging, again a problem with the packaging system.

There are a number of poor quality sets in each box. At the moment, I do not even have forks in half of the sets in the box I have opened. With such a variety of sets, I have seen some with just a spoon inside and no other accessories, as well as sets with knives and spoons but no other tools. The best thing to do is spend a little more money elsewhere for a better-quality product A product that has been made.
