What will happen to these if I compost them in my backyard?
ECOVIA's 100% compostable utensils are made of corn and are certified under BPI® and Vincotte, which meet and exceed ASTM D6400 and ASTM D6660. 13432.02 Standard for compostable wastes distributed in industrial facilities (pages 2-5 It has been four months since then). Composting in the backyard should have the same outcome because it offers a similar environment for bacteria and weeds to degrade. Occasionally, it may take longer for the material to biodegrade if conditions aren't perfect.

A legit fork that compares to or surpasses plastic

As far as I can tell, the plastic set that we got was as sturdy as the standard plastic set that I am used to. In my opinion, these are legit forks and should be used in place of plastic ones. Comparing them to plastic forks, you will end up spending a little bit more on them, but if going green is what you are looking for, then this is not a big deal since I would not let it stop me from purchasing these.

A Green company that has a great product for the environment I work in a company that purchases these sets for their social events after they realized that their employees simply threw the plastic forks, knives, and spoons into the trash rather than Sadly, I did not buy a pair of these because of the quality When we have family over for dinner several times a month, I need a set of forks for my own family so we can eat together. Since my wife has a large family, we will need forks for family dinners. A member of her family has passed away Our family typically does not recycle, so this is the ideal solution since we are green and know these are 100% compostable if we need to use them. Garbage will be thrown in the trash. In a nutshell Furthermore, we bought a set of their knives and spoons which are available on their Amazon page, and they are as well made. A flimsy yet ecologically sound product

part about these forks is that they are compostable, since that is where they are currently. It might be useful for young children's parties, but not for adults. Dinnerware that is too thin, too thin, too unattractive, too useless.

It's a nice idea, but it would be better if it were more durable

Despite looking sturdy/strong, the forks break easily and tend to melt, even though the design of the fork looks sturdy/strong. I like the whole idea of being green and using something biodegradable, but the forks tend to break easily and melt easily. As much as I would like fork tips to stay sharp, they break so One of our kindergarteners broke it while using it during lunch at school. One of them broke, so another.

We used them for a graduation open house serving more than 150 people. The cups were durable and I was relieved to know they could be composted. They didn't even know the difference if anything they thought it was something more advanced "Oh really?" when I told them it was compostable. It is such a pleasure to work with them. ".

These forks are amazing! I am so happy with them! The disposable plastic forks are sturdy and do the job just as well or better than any other disposable plastic fork. What's great about them is that they can be composted! My husband throws everything away, including our silverware, and this item is perfect for lunch as my husband never takes care of it during lunch.

On the day of our outdoor wedding, we used these forks and knives. In San Diego, the forks finally broke because of the heat and sun outdoors (it was a hot day at the wedding) which made the event very unsatisfactory for our guests who had Our discussion is down to the tiniest detail! Our good fortune was that everyone was in good spirits and we turned it into a game, however we would not buy forks from them.
