The paper says it is grease resistant, but I am not sure what that means. so far used the paper to wrap foods, particularly meats, in the freezer as well as to provide the grandchildren with paper for their art (which is perfect). My paper has never leaked through, but that has not been a problem for me. When you thaw meat in the refrigerator, it gets soggy. Water, not fat, accounts for the majority of that.

My order for Meat Hugger Poly Coated Moisture Resistant Wrap Freezer Paper was wrong because I received plain, UNCOATED Butcher Paper instead. Clearly, the label on the end of the roll is incorrect (it states poly coated freezer paper), but the label on the main roll states Uncoated White Butcher Paper. It seems someone mislabeled this product. I opened one of the rolls before I realized it was the wrong one, so I guess I'm stuck with it, and I guess I need to send the other roll back to the manufacturer. The results of this are very disappointing. The Meat Hugger products I purchased are no longer available.
