Do you mean wrapping the meat in plastic and storing it in a cooler after it has been smoked? This should, in my opinion, work just as well as the commercial rolls. That is why I am purchasing this item. In late June, I plan to make a brisket with it.
The thickness of the paper isn't specified on the box, but it feels about the same thickness as a sheet of printer paper to me. With no leakage, it folds easily and nicely. I hope this information is useful.
Yes, one side is white paper and the other is waxy.
Yes. On one side, it's waxy/slick, but on the other, it's not.

I used to buy freezer paper from my neighborhood market, but I was fed up with paying $6-$7 for it. For only 48 feet, you can get a great deal for $7! And it'd only be for a couple of weeks! At 300 feet, this is a lot less expensive and lasts a lot longer! It's a smidgeon lighter in weight than the other brand I bought, but that doesn't matter to me for my purposes. Otherwise, it performs identically to the name brand I purchased in the store. When ironed, it holds together very well, which comes in handy when I need to cut wider, larger patterns. br>br>I'm so glad I bought it, and I'd recommend it to any seamstress! I'll be back for more in the future!.
I'm thrilled that this size of paper is once again available.
It's quite impressive. It's a little thinner than the kind you'd find in the supermarket. However, if your local store no longer sells it (as mine has), you'll have to settle for something similar. It gets the job done. It's freezer paper, and there's a whole lot of it.
The freezer paper is excellent, with a heavy weight, but the box is a disaster. I attempted to set up the box as a dispenser according to the directions, but it did not work. Because the cutter isn't sharp enough, it's difficult to use. I bought this for home use, and I expect it to last a long time. I wish the dispenser worked, though.
I intend to keep purchasing. I'm trying to avoid using plastic as much as possible, and this was exactly what I needed. The paper is thick and easy to wrap around the object. I intend to keep purchasing.
After tracing, all I have to do now is iron it onto the fabric and cut it out. If you're into that, it's also useful for freezing meat. br>br>.
It met my requirements, which were for wrapping paper. I wouldn't use it to wrap food or put it in the freezer because it has a strange odor.
