I use them at my assisted living facility for medication cups, so I don't see why not.
There are no lids included with these. They are used for medication dispensing at our organization, not for food service. I hope this information was useful to you.

Instead of sticking to my hand and falling out, these cups are ideal for emptying my pills into. Or, on occasion, one may slip from my grasp without my knowledge, and I discover it later near where I thought I had taken it. That's a bad idea! And because they're plastic, even though they're only a few ounces, I can use them to hold water if I need to, rather than the paper cups of the same size. I've used dozens of them, and none have been defective, and they fit in my purse alongside my daily pill case for my evening pill schedule. They're strong enough to hold, but I don't mind squeezing them to get rid of them. They've met my expectations. Thank you very much.
The item was delivered a few weeks ahead of schedule. It's a tough plastic to work with. I was worried that it would be too thin.
They're fine; I was expecting more of a translucent cup, but these are white.
The size and price are ideal.
