Yes, I bought these for a soup cook-off, and they were fantastic. It's made of the same plastic that plastic drinking cups are made of.
No way, the plastic would melt.

I feed my geckos with these. I'd been looking for these without the lids for a while because I usually discard the lids anyway, so these were ideal. I have a gecko feeding ledge that these fit nicely into, and the geckos can't knock them over.
At a chili cook-off, I used these cups to actually put chili in. Even in hotter temperatures, they were able to hold chili. To use, I purchased a variety of different cups. These, on the other hand, were my personal favorites because they were the perfect size for sampling the food. If it could stand up to chili, I'm sure it could stand up to a lot of other things!.
There are no lids included.
These things ROCK! I know it sounds crazy, but they really do! It's much easier to squeeze 2 oz of ketchup into one of these than it is to put the ketchup in a measuring spoon, level it off (ie: Wash the spoon and butter knife, for example, with a butter knife. etc. . etc. . Dressings for salads, for example. br>br>They're sturdy, practical, and useful to have around the house for a variety of reasons. Condiments (for one,) pills (for another,) or tiny things (I do a lot of computer work, and jumpers, different screws, and other things can get away from me otherwise. ) ) and can even be used as a shot glass on the spur of the moment. (Bonus: They won't shatter if they fall to the ground at your next backyard BBQ, where everyone is wearing flip flops, or worse - if they get wet. barefoot. )br>br>Overall, I am a huge fan of these items. Some may argue that they are wasteful, but they are AMAZING for portion control (or item control) (as well as added convenience).
Images that are quite large. Thank you so much. Made with Jell-O They come with a number of shots, but when filled, they're quite large. I recommend using 1 oz or half-filling the 2 oz cups.
Rather than everyone dipping into a large pot of dip, divide the dip into these cups and ration it - There is less waste, and people enjoy being able to dip into the cup with their hands.
It arrived on time.
These are described as translucent (i. e. they are transparent). semi- I expected them to be transparent (as shown in the product photo), but they were completely clear, which is exactly what I didn't want.
