From the top of the upper basket to the top of the unit, what is the distance. ?

Three and a half inches are measured from the top of the unit to the top of the basket frame. I'm just adding some info that signifies the distance from the bottom of the upper basket to the top of the lower basket is 5 inches. There is a 3" depth between each basket

The baskets are 10" x 8" x 3" in size, correct?

There is definitely a 3" depth, and while I haven't measured the entire basket, the other dimensions appear to be accurate. If you need the basket to fit in a particular space, keep in mind that the baskets are offset so they will need additional space.

I like the look of this, but the baskets are a little Having too tight of a for the moment is better than having too loose for the latter. They are taking care of me & I am taking care of them The two of them hang out together A display used for this purpose.

The basket has only been on my porch for a couple of days, but it appears to be quite sturdy and looks good. Make sure you check the dimensions because it isn't very large, but it suits my needs perfectly.
