Buying this is not a good idea

Buying this is not the best idea if you are looking for a high-quality lid filter for mushroom jars. Despite waiting for 2 weeks, I ended up with a cheap fabric disc in the mail. Despite the fact that it's not rigid in the slightest, it doesn't seem to That will be returned to you. My decision to give it a try would have been better if I had relied on the other review. What I expected was not what happened

Despite the size, the material is very soft, almost like fabric compared with the solid synthetic filters I have bought in the past. Also, these filters are very difficult to cut to size. It would have been better to spend a couple more dollars and get the other two. Anyway, it is what it is.

My only complaint is that if I add moisture around them they would let bacteria wick through

The filters are great and can be used a couple times in sterilization techniques. Whenever you pull the plug from a PC, you should take them to a room that is enclosed and that has been sprayed with Lysol. Again, this is due to the fact that they are If you don't get them wet, this is a great product. My mistake was not understanding this effect until I was told. Now I do not have any issues. I have even used these for half gallon jars with no issues. It would take a month and a half to two months for the colony to establish. The only time I ran into issues was when I got moisture It seems that people who have given it 1 star have just given up before trying it.
