This air filter/muffler appears to be of good quality

On a fuel storage tank, I required a small air filter. These were effective. The only thing I didn't like about the package was the "MADE IN CHINA" stamp, but hey, everything these days is made in China. It's also worth noting that the fitting's hex size is most likely metric. It wasn't 9/16" or 5/8", but it was close. It wasn't a big deal for me because the threads were 1/4" NPT, but if you need to install it somewhere where a crescent wrench won't fit - be aware.

Threads on 1" that are almost unusable

I ordered four, and they're all threaded so badly that they're practically unusable. I can't even get them to fit into the fittings. br>It appears that they shifted halfway through thread formation during the manufacturing process. br> So. . . they're useless because I can't thread them into anything.

I worked on slowing down my compressor's automatic drain

This was used on the auto drain of my large compressor. My ears hurt when the drain shut off while I was standing near my compressor. It's so quiet now that I don't even notice it.
