In response to your question about the silver/chrome pieces that come out of the bottom of the two air filters, those Whenever there is no air pressure coming from the air compressor to the regulator, they drain themselves.
Even though I was using it as a double dryer only, I still added two coalescing filters, one on the input and one on the output, to stop moisture from coming into the spray booth for painting cars in a shop in Alabama, and it worked. In exchange for the money, it was a good way to ensure the lines were free of moisture.
I can confirm that the product package contains the user manual. In case you can't find it, feel free to send us a message and we'll send you a PDF version.
It's actually two parts. I'll give you the first part first. As long as the pressure is reduced to whatever level you desire, you can use this. My shop has a 155 psi pressure there, but I usually reduce it to 90 psi (or less) for shop tools whose rated pressure is below that. Additionally, water is removed from the air by this process. The only way to remove all of the water is by using an HVAC drier. 3. *br> Unless you are using a HVAC drier inside a house, it is never a good idea to use compressor air to clean electronics, because you will still be blowing water onto the board. I suggest you buy canned air meant The air will always contain water due to its inherent nature. I used to be a technician, and I would never recommend doing anything else. That's all I have for now. I hope

Thanks for your help. It now works as expected. A few days ago, I asked the following question There has been an egregious leak in the regulator since it was installed. Is there anything you can do to resolve this issue? In the end, I found out that the problem was not with the filter, but rather with the way it was hooked didn't come with any instructions, which added to the problem. My mistake was to attach the supply hose to the end right next to the regulator, which resulted in a massive air leak. For the sake of preventing the same mistake from happening again, I am writing this post. A supply hose from the compressor should connect to the end of the filters, while the hose connected to the end of the regulator should go Had I looked at all of the pictures in the Amazon ad, I would have seen the one that shows how to set it up properly. In terms of the filter, it appears to be working as it should. My hope is that this is helpful to.
My overall impression of this unit was excellent. Almost everything I needed was included, including the fittings, the plumber's tape (though it is very thin), and the majority of the project already It was designed in such a way that each module could be interchanged. In fact, I removed the module with the pressure gauge to do a pressure test, and everything worked just fine with the filters removed. It is difficult to understand the instructions included due to their briefness and poor translation. All modules are marked with flow arrows on top and there are indications on the regulator of which button to press to lock the module or increase There are two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars but gave it 4 stars It was found that there were small air leaks around the filter drain valve assemblies. I have a small airbrush compressor, and the drain valves do not close automatically. For the filters to hold closed, I have to manually hold them shut so they will build up enough pressure. While it may be annoying, it is still perfectly * I'm also experiencing complications with the fittings and modules holding pressure once the compressor is discharging (compressor discharge is rated at 57 psi, gauge indicates Since I can't hold pressure with the provided plumber's tape and fittings, I will need to order more. Whenever my compressor runs short, I have a slow leak. It is relatively easy to get a wrench on the pressure gauge due to the small clearance between the gauge and the body, but it is very difficult to tighten other fittings. Hand tightening has been done to the best of my ability. Here are a few recommendations for The gauge should either be installed at the factory or be included with a thin wrench that can be used to tighten it. As far as the plumber's tape is concerned, I would upgrade it to something more robust. If it leaks at 60psi, I can only imagine the difficulties others face. We are going to change the springs in the drain valves so low pressure/flow compressors will be able to close the valves without manual interference.
Upon installation, the unit worked well and when the regulator was set all the way up (I use an inline regulator on the tool), there was no leak. It is described on Amazon as "a filter dryer" but in the directions it is referred to as a "filter lubricator. ". As an air dryer, it appears to be of no use. Filters made of sintered metal and a bowl trap work well to remove solids and maybe coalesced liquid, but there is no desiccant or the option to add it. When I disconnect downstream quick disconnects, I still get showers of moisture. When a vehicle is painted from top to bottom, there is no captured moisture in the bowls, but there is evidence of contamination in the paint from the air line. In order to resolve this issue, disposable inline filter dryers were needed.
Having brackets built into the design is quite appealing to me. There are no obvious defects in the product. Hence far, there have been no leaks or problems. Great value for money*Update It has been nearly 6 months since we started using it daily. I still think this is.
The air drying system I used for the blasting media cabinet was very efficient. It is not as big as I imagined, but it still performs as well as I expected. As a result of the air compressor, it has demonstrated that it is capable of collecting water. The answer is yes, as it should be. In the installation process, it is easy to set the operating PSI, but instructions for adjusting it are lacking. Eventually, I figured out what the small print said by reading it twice or more. Everything that is needed for installation is included in the kit. I have had no problems with it.
What is the difficulty level of installing this? I should be able to do so without a hitch as I am something of a mental giant. Is that correct? As far as I could tell, all No matter what I did, it would not adjust. The knob would not turn The game was a complete loss. My attempt to turn the knob was unsuccessful, and I actually broke a piece off. Despite what some people say, it After I disconnected it from the compressor, I disconnected it from the power supply. You will remove the 'cap' (knob cover) and you have to turn the metal regulator knob with a wrench. In the absence of it, the wheel would not turn. I gave it a try, but I failed. All the connections were reconnected and the regulator was adjusted. There is a high degree of quality control failure in this product. that at the very least, the knob would have been turned to ensure that It turned out to be a flawed unit, but it is now functioning and I would like to avoid having to return it The regulator should be adjusted Who wants to be proud of his or her work anymore? That's too bad.
A regulator that will work with the pressure I have would have been helpful. I gave it a try even though it specifies it can produce 175 PSI, since the description said it was rated for 175 PSI. So far, it's working well with the higher pressure I'm using. It's smaller than I thought it would be but it works very well. The shelf was mounted on the side of a work bench, so it was very practical and I am extremely If I were to purchase more, I would not hesitate.
