Questions & Answers
The washers are sized according to the diameter of the bolt; if your bolt's diameter is 13mm, 1/2" will suffice; if you're referring to the size of the bolt's head, that is not the case.
Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. I'm not sure what this refers to; perhaps an urbino stock on a gun? With steel mating surfaces of similar hardness, an NL1/2" steel zinc flake Nord-Lock washer is recommended.

They DO THE JOB. For years, I've used spring/split washers on my hitch tightener bolts, and I've just gotten used to checking and re-checking them. torquing the bolts every 800-thousandths of a millionth of a millionth of Due to the vibrations of driving down the road, they have worked their way loose for 1000 miles. So I switched to Nordlocks after seeing a recommendation on YouTube, and WOW, I torque them in my driveway before we leave on a long trip, and they stay just as tight as I set them for thousands of miles, including a week of pounding highway miles, in rain, sun, sleet, snow, heat, and subzero cold. Until we get home and I need to disconnect the trailer, and I still need to give them some leverage to break them loose and get past the serrations to spin the nuts off! Expensive, but well worth it when there is the potential for vibration/movement!.
For years, I've used these on the CV joints of an off-road buggy. Before I started using Nordlocks, the driver side CV would come loose all the time. Since I've been using them, there hasn't been a single loose bolt. If you're having problems with bolts loosening on their own, this is the solution.
For the Benelli Supernova, a nut loosening issue was fixed on the Urbino stock. After more than 250 heavy load shells, it's still going strong! Thank you so much, Nord-Lock!.
Great invention; I installed mine on my truck ladder rack and it appears to be holding up well; no issues have been reported. I would strongly suggest it.
Are you looking for a bolt that will stay put? These will not let you down if you use them.
